A very good quality and stylish mid century teacher’s desk in solid oak and beech. The desk from around the late 1950’s to early 1960’s and is in beautiful condition, fully cleaned and gently restored by us. This desk came to us from a private owner in Buckinghamshire. It is presented in a beautifully aged colour and patina with a really nicely sized work surface for home use. The drawers run freely and have been cleaned and sanded back internally. The bottom right hand drawer is a double height filing drawer. There are two pull out shelves to the top of both pedestals. The legs are solid beech with the drawers and top in superbly grained oak. All of the brass handles are original and have aged perfectly to the highly desirable antique brass finish.
A super looking desk, very useable for regular working with such a generous work surface and all of that storage.
