An excellent example of an original mid century glazed bookcase, produced by Staverton in the 1950’s and 60’s. It is produced from high quality radial cut English oak and oak veneer with ply internals and section dividers. All of the glass is complete with no cracks. The condition is excellent for the year. It has been gently and sympathetically brought back to its best by us, without over restoring and stripping all of the patina and character away. It is in exceptional condition for the age with beautiful colour and natural patina.

An exceptional and hard to find full 10 drawer Architect/ Plan chest of drawers produced for Staverton. The drawers were originally supplied to Staverton RAF Base but later found their way to BT offices. We bought them from the private owner who purchased the drawers from the planning department of BT, where he worked for many years before retirement. The chest and drawers have been fully refurbished. All of the drawers run as they should. Internally the drawers are very clean. All in all a pretty unique and gorgeous piece!
We adore the design, colour and size of the chest. A very rare find in this condition. The chest splits in to two sections for transportation and siting.
