An exceptionally stylish and unique early 20th Century dresser. It originally dates from around 1910 to 1930 and retains all of its original features – such as the porcelain handles, the brass handles, the glass, the carved corbels, brass escutcheons and key. The dresser has been fully stripped and refinished in Farrow & Ball Hague Blue Estate Emulsion on the outside with Wevet eggshell for resilience on the internal cupboard top.

An original set of early 20th Century Art Deco drawers. The drawers date from around 1910-20 and are graduated in depth from the top to bottom. They are well constructed from solid wood and all drawers are very clean inside (please see photographs). The design is very much Art Deco inspired, as can be seen on the handle design, drawer fronts and the bottom plinth design. We fully stripped the chest and refinished it in Farrow & Ball Off Black with a clear wax coat for protection against knocks and spills etc.
We love the colour and the fully finished effect. Transformed from dowdy ‘brown’ to a contemporary classic that will adapt and fit with a plethora of interior styles. The storage is cute, chic and super stylish. This chest of drawers could be used in practically any room you needed them.

A beautiful rise and fall candelabra in solid brass. Dutch in origin; these are also referred to as student candelabra, as the height adjust is for ensuring there was enough light for reading and writing. We adore the shape and design and its original intended use. The main centre stay adjusts in height via a simple thumb turn screw. We think it makes a perfect table decoration and would look stunning at the centre of the table on Christmas Day? Or a beautiful gift idea?
Classic styling that will last forever.
Max Height 40cm (to the point of the central column), 29cm width at the candle holder section. 14.5cm width at the base.

This is an original antique chest of drawers originally produced circa early 1920 to 1930. The original handles are superb and could not be any more stereotypically Art Nouveau? It came to us in a tired state of dull dark brown and in need of restoration. We fully stripped the whole piece and refinished it in Little Greene Paint Company’s ‘Tea with Florence’ Eggshell. Eggshell has a natural seal against water and spills. The chest has some really good weight weight to it, reflecting some quality of handmade construction. Not a lightweight flimsy piece by any stretch. All four drawers are very clean internally and run freely. We also have a key that operates some of the drawers to lock them. We love the size and clean lines, together with the gorgeous detail on the handles.
We think it now offers a very contemporary and useful chest of drawers made from solid wood and offering many more years of use. Reclaimed and refinished furniture is so much better for the planet too! Please note this will have some signs of age with cosmetic signs of wear, though nothing significant, it is not a new piece. Please look at all photographs carefully for the condition and just ask if you have any further questions.
