We just love the age, colour and style of these gorgeous Campaign drawers. They are made from mahogany which has coloured perfectly over the years of use. They date to around the turn of the 19th/20th Century and is a beautifully styled piece. The top drawer has a pull down front, used to create a secretaire type desk. It also has storage sections for letters and stationery. The lower three drawers are of a standard configuration, offering lovely deep storage. All four brass handles and escutcheons have aged perfectly. Each drawer has a working lock and key – which is very rare to find. There is even a hidden rear section made to hold rolled up maps or drawings. All in all, a stunning stylish antique offering timeless appeal.
Campaign pieces are always very popular and highly sought after. One as beautiful and as practical as this won’t hang around for long?

An early 20th Century settle bench with under seat storage. Made in pine it is rustic styling with a colour pop. Can seat 3 people very comfortably. A fantastic alternative to chairs at the main dining table or a superb hall bench. The storage underneath also offers a real benefit to store shoes, cushions, blankets, dog leads, coats etc.
The bench came directly from a private owner returning back to the UK from France. They had it painted and hand waxed for protection. A very stylish and very practical bench. These are certainly getting harder to find.

A beautiful late 19th Century Victorian cupboard in mahogany. It dates from around 1870 to 1900 and is in beautiful antique condition. The mahogany has aged perfectly to give a finish only time can produce. Internally it is original and clean condition with all original brassware to the doors. The exterior is classic and very stylish with hand carved corbels to the upper flanks. There is also a pull out tray section below the top surface.
We think it would make a stunning statement piece to finish off a hallway, living room, kitchen/ diner etc.

A fantastic example of a mid century stacking glazed book case by Minty of Oxford. This is the only one we have seen standing on its original black base and legs. A rare model owned privately from new in 1958, complete with original stamped receipt from Minty, London, SW1.
Minty produced some really nice quality bookcases from the early 20th Century to the late 20th Century, usually in a dark oak. This one is perfectly coloured and completely original throughout. The bottom two sections are high and deep enough to store 12 vinyls, magazines or large books. It splits down in to individual sections for ease of moving to the room of your choice.
Very stylish and super on trend at the moment.

An amazing desk in solid English oak, dating from 1929. These desks typically came from a Government office/ Public Service such as Civil Servant Offices, Schools, Railways etc. This desk is in beautiful condition with age related marks to the top surface. The desk was owned from new and was the work desk of a father that passed down the desk to his daughter, when he no longer needed it. The beautiful brass cup handles also carry the GR and Crown stamps. The three generous drawers all run freely. There are cosmetic marks and signs of use to the original top but it is in exceptional condition for its age (and we have sold a fair few of these desks). Please see photographs.
We have had a number of these George V and George VI desks and they always sell so so quickly.
This will only get better with age and appreciate in value. A superb quality antique desk.

An excellent example of an original mid century low bookcase/ unit, with original sliding lower doors and adjustable shelf. It was produced by G Plan and is made from beautifully grained tola wood with perfectly aged colouring. The bookcase was bought new and owned by one private family owner. The sliding doors and shelves are all original. The shelf has a quality knife edge finish and is height adjustable. With a trapezoid shape (narrower at the top, wider at the bottom) the bookcase is a stylish but very practical piece with a difference.
Very stylish, flexible in use, and easily accommodatable size.

An original mid century glazed bookcase/ unit/ sideboard in Walnut. Produced in the 1960’s by Morris of Glasgow the cabinet has a really good weight and quality construction to it with box joints to the frame and good quality heavy glass doors. The door hinges are fully hinged with a piano hinge, adding to a quality construction feel. The size is really versatile. The unit is completely original with super condition to the solid wood framework, original sliding glass doors and original handles and catches.
Internal shelves are easily adjustable, or removable, by simply moving the wooden support pegs to different holes. Or removing the shelves completely, should you need to. Both doors slide easily and are free from chips. If you need any further close ups or have any questions, just ask us.
We think the piece offers lots of flexible storage capabilities as a bookcase, drinks cabinet. sideboard, TV stand etc. It can easily be accommodated in to living, dining or bedroom styling. Fantastic and highly desirable mid century styling at such a great value for money price.

An exceptional 6 drawer Architect/ Plan chest of drawers on original legs, by Abbess. These drawers came to us in a tired old brown stain, peeling away. They are completely original and pretty rare to have their original legs and base still present. We fully stripped away the old brown varnish, sanded the whole carcass, frame, drawers and handles. Then we refinished the piece in a matt black paint for the carcass and original handles with a clear satin finish varnish to the gorgeous oak finish.
We think the colour and grain are now superb. The drawers make a fantastic kitchen island or of course artist drawers, drawers for collectors, a TV stand with a difference etc etc. Use them exactly where you need them. Immense storage in stunning style and gorgeous condition. These chests are never with us long and we completely understand why.
The chest does split in two for transportation and the legs/ base can also be screwed off, should you need to. The drawers can easily be removed to help with moving/ delivering/ siting in the room of your choice.

A simply stunning solid oak desk handmade by Astrola of London (Hammersmith, W6). It dates from around the late 1940’s to early 1950’s and is in completely original condition but fully cleaned and gently restored by us. It came from the Tax Office in Walsall where it spent its whole life.
Truly stunning heavy English radial cut oak throughout, with dovetails joints to the drawers. All drawers bottom have been sanded back and cleaned.
The build and quality will mean these desks can only appreciate in value if looked after well.
Overall Dimensions: 76.5cm High, 137cm Wide, 76cm Deep (max).
Kneehole: 57cm Wide, 62.5cm min. height clearance.
