A classic and stylish glazed drinks cabinet dating form the late 1930’s to mid 1940’s. The cabinetry is in a super rich colour and the glazed doors have a timeless design – not too fussy. All of the glass in the doors is original. The doors have their original lock and one key. Internally the shelves are solid wood in a good thickness for bearing the weight of bottles or books. We replaced the back and painted it white, as the original back was finished in material that was dated and stained. This gave the piece a contemporary facelift to bring it up to date and fresh. What a perfectly gorgeous gin / drinks cabinet?

£0FREE Ground Floor delivery on this item, within approximately 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. Further afield locations will incur a surcharge for delivery via couriers.
These industrial design baskets dates to around the 1980’s and came to us from a school in Windsor. They are constructed from heavy steel and thick gauge wire – all powder coated when new. It is very practical and in great condition for its age but has wear to the metalwork which is all original and gives the piece its authenticity. A solid and heavy piece, completely the opposite to modern imported reproductions. We added a new birch ply top to make it much more practical as a TV stand, or low record deck and speaker stand. They could even be used as a deep shoe store.
A unique piece you won’t see anywhere else.
