A very stylish desk from 1970 By Burndale, with beautifully grained and coloured teak. It dates from 1970, having a stamp to the underside and is in really good vintage condition, fully cleaned and gently restored by us. With three clean free running drawers, together with its original pull out stationery tray, the desk has everything you need for a regular use desk. At 122cm wide it is not too big for home use and getting it in to the room you need,

A compact but stylish 1960’s desk with a very mid Century Danish look. This desk has perfectly simple lines and is very much of the mid century Scandinavian design ethos. We couldn’t find any makers stamps or labels though. The desk would be perfect for a tighter space, occasional use or as a child’s study desk. It is a standard height adult sized desk at 76.5cm high. With three clean and free running drawers it offers plenty of storage for its size. The top drawer is lockable via its original lock and one key.

A gorgeous mid century oak desk handmade and supplied by Durrant Office Furniture. It dates from around the early to mid 1960’s and is in completely original condition but fully cleaned and gently restored by us. This desk came to us from Oakham Private School in Rutland, where it had spent its whole life from new. It is presented in a beautifully aged oak colour and patina with a really nicely sized work surface for home use. The drawers run freely and have been cleaned and sanded back internally.
A super looking desk, very useable for regular working but a nice size for most people to be able to accommodate. The kneehole space is exceptionally generous, which enables the use of a larger more modern desk chair. Unusual for mid century kneehole desks!

A gorgeous 1960’s desk with a difference. It is Danish in original and made very well from teak and afromosia wood. It is solid in its build and very heavy for its compact size. The desk is perfect for a tighter space as it can fold down to a small size but then be extended on the top via a very easy slide system. It has classic mid Century design and therefore offers a super looking desk but also vey practical and very useable. With three clean and free running drawers plus an open storage shelf it offers all you would need for a regular use work or study desk. Different, fantastic to look at but also very practical – exactly what we love to offer you.

A very stylish mid century teacher’s desk in beautifully grained and coloured teak. It dates from around the late 1950’s to early 1960’s and is in beautiful condition, fully cleaned and gently restored by us. This desk came to us from a private owner in Lincolnshire. It is presented in a beautifully aged colour and patina with a really nicely sized work surface for home use. The desk looks almost as good form the back as it does from the front – mainly due to the very carefully selected teak grain giving such incredible uniformity! The drawers are all dove tail jointed and run very freely. The bottom right hand drawer is a double height filing drawer. There are two pull out shelves to the top of both pedestals – one just a shelf, the other containing the original plastic stationery tray stamped with the Burndale maker’s mark.
A super looking desk, very useable for regular working with such a generous work surface and all of that storage.

It is presented in a beautifully aged colour and patina with a really nicely sized work surface for home use. The drawers run freely and have been cleaned and sanded back internally. The bottom right hand drawer is a double height filing drawer. There are two pull out shelves to the top of both pedestals. The legs are solid beech with the drawers and top in superbly grained oak. All of the brass handles are original and have aged perfectly to the highly desirable antique brass finish.
