£0FREE Ground Floor Shipping on this item within approximately 150 miles of Cambridgeshire. More remote and rural areas will attract a charge.
This is a superb 19th Century church/ chapel pew. It is hand crafted from antique pitch pine with superb details of true hand craftsmanship. It is completely original, very solid and heavy (approx. 50kgs!). The pew has not been messed around with in anyway, like a lot of pews that have been cut down, new ends added etc. We have a matching pair available at this length and one not quite as wide.
We love the design, quality of wood and hand crafted details, making it stand out from the masses of pews available. The colour and patina are also perfect. Beautifully aged colour and patina from the decades of use. The bench lends itself to being very flexible on how it can be styled and used in your home. It would make a beautiful hallway bench but equally could add real character and individuality as a dining table bench. Style and use exactly as you wish.

Read moreOriginal Edwardian Salon Seat fully reupholstered
£0FREE Shipping on this item within approximately 150 miles of Cambridgeshire. Some more remote and rural locations will incur a charge.
We took this original Edwardian Salon sofa and stripped off the ripped and sagging seat. The seat was fully re-webbed, hessian backed and then reupholstered in a plush velvet fabric. The colour is a light mocha we would say. The seat had been painted in a matt black paint at some point in its life, age unknown. We liked the old flat paint and sign of original use/ distress/ wear to the paintwork. We simply cleaned the whole frame and gave it a wax protection coat to leave its heritage but give it a freshen up and some protection.
We think it now offers a classically Edwardian antique piece brought in to a contemporary realm. Very chic but with true history.
Dimensions:
111cm Maximum Width (arm to arm), 92cm Maximum Back Height, 52cm Maximum Depth
44cm Seat Height, 43cm Seat Depth

A very late 1960’s/ early 1970’s styled ottoman. Completely original in the carcass but we reupholstered a very tired and torn seat. Read moreLarge 18th Century George III Captain’s Ship Chest
£0FREE Ground Floor Shipping on this item within approximately 150 miles of Cambridgeshire. More remote and rural areas will incur a charge.
A superb late 18th Century Captain’s Ship Chest. This chest dates to around 1780-1800 during the reign of King George III. It would have been used to store the Captain’s possessions for when boarded ship. It is a large and very heavy chest in original and very old paint. The paint and patina have been naturally worn and aged over the centuries to create a beautifully aged antique finish. The internals of the chest are amazing. Lots of storage trays, drawers and compartments to be used, or admired. The hinges are also original but the end ropes have been replaced as they never survive against the salt water and sea air.
We think it would now make a perfect rustic coffee table, TV stand or storage seat with a cushion on top. Very original, very hard to find and a real treasure.
Dimensions: 115cm Max Width, 66cm High, 76cm Max Depth
