An exceptional antique French triple door tambour cabinet in Oak, dating from the early part of the 20th Century (c. mid 1930’s to late 1940’s). It comes with original handles, three working locks and three keys, together with lots of removable and adjustable internal shelves. We adore the colour, size and condition on this cabinet. The size is very impressive and offers a true statement piece. There is lots of flexible storage by removing shelves, changing the spacing between them, adding new ones etc. You can get the configuration of shelves exactly as you need them, depending what you would like to use it for. All three doors run exactly as they should and the locks work well (spring loaded release).
A very nice example of a large French tambour cabinet. This piece offers beautiful styling with lots of flexible storage capabilities.

A beautiful early 20th Century galvanized hand pump, produced by The Four Oaks in Sutton Coldfield (circa 1930’s). We adore the perfectly aged patina and are amazed that the bottom and sides are in tact with no holes from rust, oxidisation etc. We have never seen a hand pump made by Four Oaks, let alone in this condition. We have seen quite a few of their brass and copper back sprayers and they always sell SO quickly.
The size of this pump means it could be a garden water feature, a garden planter, an indoor umbrella store or indoor plants/ flowers pot. So many ways to be able to use and adore the perfectly aged piece of UK social history. Such a talking piece?

A beautiful antique desk in solid English oak, dating from the 193o’s. It was supplied by the Crown for Military or Civil Service use. These desks typically came from a Government office/ Public Service such as Civil Servant Offices, Schools, Railways etc. We think it is the cutest desk. Perfect for a child’s desk and tall enough for occasional adult use desk. It could also be used as a dressing table, hall table etc.

A truly stunning late 19th Century table imported from a bar in New York City. It appears to be made from American Walnut. A very unusual shape and design make this table exceptional in so many ways. The top has a beautiful sheen and original wood grain, enhanced by waxing. The framework looks to be completely original paintwork that has crackled with age. A finish that is priceless in itself. We could go on and on about this table. You either fall in love with this as soon as you get to Picture 3 or it’s not for you.
It could be used as a dining table, a desk, a hall console, a dressing table etc etc. Whatever you choose.

An very nicely sized original mid century glazed bookcase in teak and glass. Produced in the 1960’s it is completely original throughout. We love the size and lines – and also those black dansette style tapered legs. Very mid Century! The bookcase has it’s original three sliding doors – one wooden door to the left and two glass doors to the right.
All the shelves are easily adjustable, or removable, by simply moving the support pegs to different holes. Or removing the shelves completely, should you need to. If you need any further close ups or have any questions, just ask us.

An unusually sized original mid century glazed bookcase in quality teak construction. Produced in the 1960’s it is completely original throughout. The size is unusual in that it is quite tall but slim. Ideal for an alcove or somewhere that is restricted on the width available. The bookcase has it’s original easy slide glass doors. Very hard to find in such outstanding original condition.

A superbly aged early 20th Century Railway platform bench in original paint. The bench dates to around 1900 to 1920’s and is presented in it’s original and very old paintwork. The sign on the back of the seat is the original and perfectly aged enamel sign – all hand painted. The chippy paint effect is perfectly executed by genuine age and wear. The legs and back supports are in cast iron and painted in an aged gloss black paint too. The joints are secure. We cleaned the bench and coated it in a clear Matt lacquer to protect the existing paint effect and form a new seal.
It would look perfect in a hallway, boot room, conservatory, orangery – or of course in the garden or patio area.
