£0FREE delivery on this item within approximately 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. Further afield locations will incur a charge to send via couriers.
An exceptional and rare full 10 drawer Architect/ Plan chest of drawers by Staverton. The drawers date to around the 1940’s but have been full refurbished. The chest retains its original Crown Stamp, GR and Staverton in two different places. The colour and aged patina is probably as good as it gets for mid Century Staverton furniture. All of the drawers run freely and are free from any chips or the usual marks. Internally the drawers are very clean. All in all a pretty rare and gorgeous piece!
We adore the design, colour and size of the chest. A very rare find in this condition. The chest splits in to two sections for transportation and siting.

Read moreCute Edwardian Console Table in Farrow & Ball Hague Blue
£0FREE Delivery on this item within approximately 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. Further afield areas will incur a surcharge to send via couriers.
This console is an original solid wood console table produced circa 1910-1925. It was hand made in mahogany and oak with elegant legs, typical of the Edwardian period. It came to us in a tired state of dull dark brown. We fully stripped the whole piece and refinished it in Farrow & Ball Hague Blue Estate Emulsion for a contemporary colour pop and very appealing matt finish. A clear coat of Annie Sloan chalk paint wax has also been applied, to seal against water and spills. We restored the top back to bare wood and refinished it with a clear satin varnish, adding a very appealing contrast to the Hague Blue below. A nice blend of antique and contemporary. With two cupboards and a drawer it offer slots of super practical storage for such a compact table.
We think it now offers a very contemporary and useful console table made from solid wood and offering many more years of use. Reclaimed and refinished furniture is so much better for the planet too!

Read moreWide Chest of Original George III Drawers in Farrow & Ball Off Black
£0FREE Ground Floor Delivery on this item within approximately 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. Further afield areas will incur a surcharge to send via couriers.
An original set of George III drawers. The drawers date from around 1800-1820 and are graduated in depth from the top to bottom. They are well crafted from mahogany with the drawer internals in their original quarter drawn oak. The design is very classically Georgian as can be seen on the original swan neck brass handle design and the feet design. We fully stripped the chest and refinished it in Farrow & Ball Off Black with a clear wax coat for protection against knocks and spills etc.
We love the colour and the fully finished effect. Transformed from dowdy ‘brown’ to a contemporary classic that will adapt and fit with a plethora of interior styles. The storage is generous and super stylish. This chest of drawers could be used in practically any room you needed them.

A rare find! A beautifully coloured tambour filing cabinet in Oak, dating from the early 20th Century (c. 1930’s). The cabinet comes with all of its original pull out haberdashery type shelves and brass label holders, which are just gorgeous and rare to find in these cabinets. All of the trays run very easily and are easily removable to accommodate whatever you need to store. We love the colour, size and quality of oak on this cabinet. It weights approximately 70 kgs, reflective of the quality of English oak used in its handmade construction. Beautiful craftsmanship. The door runs freely and has a working lock and key.

Read moreDanish Sideboard by Christian Linneberg
£0FREE Shipping on this item within approximately 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. More remote and rural areas will incur a charge.
A very stylish Danish design and manufactured sideboard by Christian Linneberg. It is a heavy piece, reflective of the solid construction of teak and teak veneer work. It dates to around the late 1970’s and offers the very sought after Scandinavian minimalistic design. The teak has coloured beautifully and has some superb grain to the top and doors. All four doors push open and closed on magnetic closers. The left hand side has two pull out shelves whilst all other sections have one shelf inside. The Christian Linneberg label is still present on the rear backboard. Unfortunately the backboard does have a split down the height of it. This is not visible when the sideboard is placed against a wall and when the door is closed but we have to point this out (see photograph too).
A very stylish but super practical piece that also makes a super TV stand.

A beautiful antique desk in solid English oak, dating from the 193o’s. This desk is stamped to the underside with a rare ER VIII stamp. This clearly dates the desk to the short reign in 1936. The oak is heavy and has aged perfectly. It is a perfect desk for a tighter space but still offering plenty of storage. The handles are later replacements but are brass and of nice quality. The bottom drawer has a working lock and two keys. All of the drawers have been lined with felt (as it came to us from a private owner).
This will only get better with age and appreciate in value. A superb quality antique desk.

Read moreOriginal Edwardian Sideboard in Farrow & Ball Railings
£0FREE Two man ground floor delivery on this item within approximately 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. Further afield areas will incur a surcharge to send via couriers.
A very elegantly designed Edwardian sideboard with lots of chic style and storage. This sideboard dates from around 1900-1920 and is very clearly Edwardian in its design and lines. It came to us in a pretty poor state and a very old tired brown finish. It has now been given a whole new lease of life with a full strip and refinish in Farrow & Ball Railings colourway, with a clear wax protective finish. The internals have been left as original as possible to show the original age and authenticity of the piece but all of the internals have been fully cleaned.
The sideboard is a chic and contemporary update to a classic antique. With so much storage and style it is a unique piece ready to be loved by a new owner.
