£0FREE shipping on this item. More remote and rural areas will incur a charge.
A beautiful chest of mid Victorian drawers dating from around the 1860’s. They are presented in a beautifully aged mahogany finish and are in original condition throughout. The drawers are configured in a graduated set of five free running drawers with all original handles in exceptional condition. The majority of the mother of pearl escutcheons are also still in tact. All drawers are very well made with dovetail joints to the sides and are solid in construction. The drawer internals are very clean and the whole chest is completely solid and free form any wobbles or loose joints. The top shows an old crack repair which has been done well and colour blended very well. There are also residual marks to the top from all of the years of use. Perfectly normal for a piece of this age. Not deep scratches or ‘damage’ but cosmetic wear. Please see all photographs and just ask if you would like further photographs or have any questions over the condition. The style is classically Victorian but the size is of an impressive nature. They are beautifully and classically designed and will blend with many interior styles and colour schemes.
This chest will look perfect in almost any room you choose. It’s a real keeper!

£0FREE UK Delivery on this lamp.
An original 1970’s Type 90 Anglepoise lamp in a rare deep red colour. A vibrant rich colour pop! Read moreMid Century Leather Chesterfield Chair
£0FREE Shipping on this item (some remote and rural areas will incur a charge).
An original mid Century leather Chesterfield chair with unusual proportions. We love the size and shape of this original leather Chesterfield chair, dating to around the late 1950’s to 60’s. It is unusual in how deep set the chair is, the over proportioned wings to the rear headrest and how deeply the backrest is padded. Clearly some quality to the original construction and covering of the chair. It is in original condition throughout albeit with one patch repair to one arm. This is quite normal for leather pieces of this age and older. The colour matches well and it just enhances the originality of the piece. It is super comfy and just looks superb and inviting. All buttons still present and well fixed. We replaced the bottom underside of the chair with new material.

Read moreGeorge V English Oak Desk with Two End Drawers
£0FREE Delivery on this desk. More remote and rural locations will incur a charge.
A beautiful antique desk in solid English oak, dating from the 193o’s. It is stamped to the under side with George V (1910-1936) and the Crown symbol, denoting that it was supplied by the Crown for Military or Civil Service use. These desks typically came from a Government office/ Public Service such as Civil Servant Offices, Schools, Railways etc. This one is unusual in design as it has a drawer at each end/ side of the desk, rather than at the front. This offers two very large drawers for storage. Both drawers are free running with original handles and locks. The top is the original gorgeous green finish, though does carry some cosmetic marks form its past. Nothing that detracts from the desk in any way but we like to point out any issues and also show in the photographs. Now very fresh and ready for regular use.
Presented in a beautiful rich oak. This will only get better with age and appreciate in value. A superb quality antique desk.
Please not that the desk does not disassemble. The top may be removed but would only change the depth by a few centimetres. You should double check that the desk will pass through all doorways and turns before purchasing. Any questions then please just ask us.
