This console is an original solid wood console table produced circa early to mid 1980’s. It is a piece we loved for it’s design, size and practicality. The piece has a good quality feel and weight to it, with dovetail joints and quality carpentry. It came to us in a tired state of dull dark brown. We fully stripped the whole piece and refinished it in Farrow & Ball Hague Blue Estate Emulsion for a contemporary colour pop and very appealing matt finish. A clear coat of Annie Sloan chalk paint wax has also been applied, to seal against water and spills.
We think it now offers a very contemporary and useful console table made from solid wood and offering many more years of use. Reclaimed and refinished furniture is so much better for the planet too!

An original mid century glazed bookcase/ unit/ sideboard in Walnut. Produced in the 1960’s by Morris of Glasgow the cabinet has a really good weight and quality construction to it with dovetailed joints to the frame and good quality heavy glass doors. The door hinges are fully hinged with a piano hinge, adding to a quality construction feel. The size is really versatile. The unit is completely original with super condition to the solid wood framework, original sliding glass doors and original handles and catches.
Internal shelves are easily adjustable, or removable, by simply moving the wooden support pegs to different holes. Or removing the shelves completely, should you need to. Both doors slide easily and are free from chips. If you need any further close ups or have any questions, just ask us.
We think the piece offers lots of flexible storage capabilities as a bookcase, drinks cabinet. sideboard, TV stand etc. It can easily be accommodated in to living, dining or bedroom styling. Fantastic and highly desirable mid century styling at such a great value for money price.

The frame is in really nice original condition with only a few small blemishes – not dents, no significant scratches. The original smoked glass top is very thick (c10mm) and heavy. An original 1950’s photography lamp by Smith-Victor. This lamps is a rare find as the lamp head and stand are completely original and in excellent condition for their age. We bought this lamp form a dealer in the US and had it sent over, we loved it that much. The stand offers lots of flexibility over height adjustment and the head swivels and tilts to get the exact lighting you are looking for. The bulb is a standard fitting so you can choose a squirrel cage, LED etc for the look and colour you want. The light is switched on and off at the head with a simple push switch on the lamp holder.
Simply plug in and add very stylish lighting to any room. We adore the overall look and uniqueness of what these lamps have been used for and seen – who knows what subject matter they have photographed!

A nest of three very stylish 1960’s side tables with chrome frames and original black glass tops. We bought these tables form a private client that had them many years and bought from a specialist mid century furniture store in London. They are in superb original condition with all three black glass tops being original and free form any chips or cracks. The largest table shows a few surface scratches when inspecting closely but no deep scratches and only seen in certain light. The two smaller glass tops are in exceptional original condition. All three frames are free form any dings or scratches and only carry very very small spots of tarnish that could probably be polished out. We love the authenticity of them though.
A super stylish set of mid century minimalist Italian design that can only appreciate as they age.

It is in completely original condition; fully stable with no wobbles and perfectly aged wear on the baskets, legs and slatted top. Constructed from steel box section and solid oak slats it has a really good solid weight and looks fantastic We just gave it a good clean, and lightly waxed the oak with a clear wax for replenishment and a refresh.
This piece has all the superb old school styling you could want and a really good size. A perfect way of tidying up a hallway or entrance whilst adding a real style statement.

This cute little gym/ changing bench dates to 1970 (one of the benches dated underneath in pencil) and came to us straight from a school in Prestwich, Manchester. It is in amazing original condition for its age and previous use. Constructed from steel box section and solid teak throughout it has really good solid weight and looks fantastic, with the backrest set at adult height, not child height. We just gave it a good clean, and teak oiled the wood for replenishment and refresh. Perfect for a small hallway or flat entrance? Or one each for two children?
This piece has all the superb old school styling you could want in the cutest little package. A perfect way of tidying up a hallway or entrance whilst adding a real style statement.
