A very stylish mid century teacher’s desk in beautifully coloured oak. It dates from around the 1950’s to early 1960’s and is in beautiful condition, fully cleaned and gently restored by us. This desk came to us from a private owner in Brighton. It is presented in a beautifully aged colour and patina with a really nicely sized work surface for home use. The drawers run freely and have been cleaned and sanded back internally. The bottom right hand drawer is a double height filing drawer. There are two pull out shelves to the top of both pedestals – one just a shelf, the other containing the original plastic stationery tray stamped with the Burndale maker’s mark.
A super looking desk, very useable for regular working with such a generous work surface and all of that storage.
