A stunning example of an original Art Deco 1920’s antique book case or drinks cabinet. The cabinet is presented in superbly coloured walnut veneer with a beautiful astragal glazed door. We adore the colour of the piece, the grain of the wood and the stunning pattern to the door. We refinished the back in Farrow & Ball Wevet to really lift the piece and bring it in to 2021. The cabinet comes with its original lock, escutcheon and key. It is in beautiful original condition with just one small veneer bubble (as photographed) to the door, approximately 3cm x 1cm.
Internally it is show with two glass shelves but it does have three should you wish to have more shelves with less height between for smaller items.
We think it makes a beautiful gin cabinet but of course can be a bookcase, display cabinet or other drinks cabinet.
