A simply stunning and very unusual Victorian chiffonier in rosewood. The piece has been hand made in rare rosewood with its showcase grain. The colour and patina have aged perfectly to present a very unique cabinet. There are many signs of quality on the piece – from the quality of the rosewood grain, to the sharpness of the carving on the columns, the brass central door stay, brass internal bolts etc. The top mirror is original and has perfect foxing to the plate, showing it’s age and authenticity. The doors retain their original working lock and key.
We think this now offers a very stylish and unique treasure for a lucky new owner. We have styled it is a bathroom cabinet but could easily be a bedroom piece, a hallway cabinet, or drinks cabinet.
The cabinet has been cleaned and the internal bottom section has been treated with a fresh coat of clear satin varnish. A beautiful piece that you won’t see in anybody else’s home.

The colour and patina have aged perfectly to present a very unique cabinet. We replaced two dark brown and warped lower door panels with new panes of reeded glass. We think this now offers an even more stylish and unique treasure for a lucky new owner. We have styled it is a bathroom cabinet but could easily be a bedroom piece, a hallway cabinet, or drinks cabinet.
The cabinet has a clean and free running central drawer and a very practical lower cupboard – which comes with its working lock and two keys. A beautiful piece that you won’t see in anybody else’s home.

A gorgeous example of an astragal glazed drinks cabinet. The cabinetry is in excellent original condition. All of the glass in the doors is original too. There is one crack to one pane. Not visible from a distance, only once up close. Please see photograph. Approximately 10cm in total length. The doors have their original lock and one key.
This beautiful piece is presented in a very rich aged mahogany finish. We re-finished the back and shelves in Farrow & Ball Wevet eggshell. This gave the piece a contemporary facelift to bring it bang on trend for 2024. What a perfectly gorgeous gin / drinks cabinet?

The doors have a fantastically clean and symmetrical oval pattern to them – not too fussy and detailed but some great lines. The glass in the doors is all original, as are the original brass internal bolts, working lock and key. The interior is original and in exceptionally clean condition for its age – a beautiful pale blue that complements the colour of the wood perfectly. We think it would make a superb bookcase, drinks cabinet, display cabinet etc.

A beautiful and unique 1930’s mirror back cabinet re-finished in (Dulux Heritage) Mallard Green Eggshell. The cabinet came to us in a patchy dark brown finish. We fully stripped it back and painted it in a beautiful dark green to the exterior with Farrow & Ball’s Wevet on the inside. Now offering a totally unique cabinet that could be used for many things. We have styled it as a drinks cabinet but we also think it would be a superb bathroom cabinet for toiletries, spare towels etc or as a bedroom piece for perfumes, cosmetics etc.
