A simply stunning and very unusual Victorian chiffonier in rosewood. The piece has been hand made in rare rosewood with its showcase grain. The colour and patina have aged perfectly to present a very unique cabinet. There are many signs of quality on the piece – from the quality of the rosewood grain, to the sharpness of the carving on the columns, the brass central door stay, brass internal bolts etc. The top mirror is original and has perfect foxing to the plate, showing it’s age and authenticity. The doors retain their original working lock and key.
We think this now offers a very stylish and unique treasure for a lucky new owner. We have styled it is a bathroom cabinet but could easily be a bedroom piece, a hallway cabinet, or drinks cabinet.
The cabinet has been cleaned and the internal bottom section has been treated with a fresh coat of clear satin varnish. A beautiful piece that you won’t see in anybody else’s home.

A very stylish 1960’s bookcase in teak by Beaver & Tapley. The bookcase is a very generous and flexible size, lovely vintage condition. The piece has a nice weight, being constructed from teak hardwood. The shelves are also solid teak with a nice knife edge detail. The shelves are height adjustable or easily removable. All four glass doors are original and slide as they should.
We think the piece offers lots of flexible storage capabilities as a bookcase, drinks cabinet, display unit etc. It can easily be accommodated in to living, dining or bedroom styling. Fantastic and highly desirable mid century styling at such a great value for money price.

A beautifully styled early 20th Century glazed cabinet in oak. The piece dates from around 1910-1920’s and is presented in very good original condition with working lock and key. The cabinet has a good weight to it, reflecting the quality of wood used. We replaced the original leaded glass due to a number of sections being cracked or missing. We added reeded glass panels to really make the piece pop and freshen it up. The interior is also a lovely rich colour from the oak with three adjustable height shelves. There is also an additional shelf that we will include, should you wish to have four shelves inside.
A beautiful cabinet, be it for books, kitchenware and glasses, drinks, bathroom towels and toiletries – or whatever you choose.

An excellent example of an original mid century low glazed bookcase/ unit/ in teak, with original glass and wood sliding doors. Produced around the mid to late 1950’s this is a very nice example from the Herbert Gibbs Autograph range. A great size, super colour with original adjustable shelves and original glass. The doors are completely original too.
It offers lots of mid Century style and very flexible storage capabilities as a bookcase, drinks cabinet, etc. It can easily be accommodated in to living, dining or bedroom styling. The shelves are adjustable or removable by moving the pegs/ supports for each shelf. Fantastic and highly desirable mid century styling.

We think this now offers an even more stylish and unique treasure for a lucky new owner. The cabinet has a clean and free running central drawer and a very practical lower cupboard – which comes with its working lock and two keys. A beautiful piece that you won’t see in anybody else’s home.

A very rarely seen matching pair of 1960’s bookcases in teak. The bookcases were produced in the 1960’s as part of Herbert Gibbs Gold Label Autograph range. The plate remains to the rear for provenance. The colour is what makes them rare. Teak bookcases by Herbert Gibbs are normally darker than this. This is the first pair of bookcases we have seen, by Herbert Gibbs, in this light a shade in almost ten years. The frame is beautifully coloured and aged teak with a knife edge detail. All of the glass doors are original. We couldn’t bare to split them but will if they are not bought as a pair in the coming weeks. Perfect for alcoves?

A gorgeous example of an astragal glazed drinks cabinet. The cabinetry is in excellent original condition. All of the glass in the doors is original too. There is one crack to one pane. Not visible from a distance, only once up close. Please see photograph. Approximately 10cm in total length. The doors have their original lock and one key.
This beautiful piece is presented in a very rich aged mahogany finish. We re-finished the back and shelves in Farrow & Ball Wevet eggshell. This gave the piece a contemporary facelift to bring it bang on trend for 2024. What a perfectly gorgeous gin / drinks cabinet?
