A perfectly coloured oak example of a mid century glazed bureau bookcase cabinet by Minty of Oxford. Minty produced some really nice quality bookcases from the early 20th Century to the late 20th Century. This very flexible model was produced in the 1930’s and the oak has aged perfectly – not too dark and not too light. With so many storage sections it offers great flexibility as a bookcase, drinks cabinet, secretaire etc. All sections and doors are original and working exactly as they should be. No chips or scratches to the doors. The middle bureau section retains its original working lock and key for safe storage, should you need it.
Very stylish and super on trend at the moment. It would be hard to find a better example than this.

A beautiful and unique 1930’s mirror back cabinet re-finished in (Dulux Heritage) Mallard Green Eggshell. The cabinet came to us in a patchy dark brown finish. We fully stripped it back and painted it in a beautiful dark green to the exterior with Farrow & Ball’s Wevet on the inside. Now offering a totally unique cabinet that could be used for many things. We have styled it as a drinks cabinet but we also think it would be a superb bathroom cabinet for toiletries, spare towels etc or as a bedroom piece for perfumes, cosmetics etc.

An excellent example of an original 1960’s handmade glazed bookcase/ unit, with original glass, shelf and supports. It was handmade in the 1960’s and is made from good quality solid teak with perfectly aged colouring. The shelf supports and retaining holes are brass and brass bound with plenty of height adjustment. The doors are all the original glass with no visible scratches. With so much height adjustment on the shelves, or removable completely, it offers some very flexible and stylish mid century storage.
Very stylish, flexible in use, and easily accommodatable size.

An excellent example of an original mid century low glazed bookcase/ unit, with original glass, shelf and supports. It was produced by G Plan and is made from very good quality oak with perfectly aged colouring. The shelf supports and retaining holes are brass and brass bound. The doors and shelf are all the original glass with no chips to the edges or visible scratches. With a trapezoid shape (narrower at the top, wider at the bottom) the bookcase is a stylish but very practical piece with a difference.

A very stylish 1960’s bookcase in teak by Beaver & Tapley. The bookcase is a very useful size and in lovely vintage condition. The piece has a nice weight, being constructed from teak hardwood. The upper shelf is also solid teak with a nice knife edge detail. It is height adjustable or easily removable. All four glass doors are original and slide as they should.
We think the piece offers lots of flexible storage capabilities as a bookcase, drinks cabinet, display unit etc. It can easily be accommodated in to living, dining or bedroom styling. Fantastic and highly desirable mid century styling at such a great value for money price.

An unusually sized original mid century glazed bookcase/ unit/ in Teak. Produced in the 1960’s by Morris of Glasgow the cabinet has a really good weight and quality construction with handmade dovetail joints and solid wooden shelves. The sliding glass doors are original and have a really good weight and thickness too. The size is unusual in that it is quite tall but slim. Ideal for an alcove or somewhere that is restricted on the width available. The unit is completely original and in very good vintage condition.
All three shelves are easily adjustable, or removable, by simply moving the wooden support pegs to different holes. Or removing the shelves completely, should you need to.
We think the piece offers lots of flexible storage capabilities as a bookcase, drinks cabinet, display unit etc. It can easily be accommodated in to living, dining or bedroom styling. Fantastic and highly desirable mid century styling at such a great value for money price.
