A chic and stylish linen cupboard that we fully refinished in Farrow & Ball Hague Blue Estate Emulsion. The cupboard has also received a final protective coat of clear wax for resilience. We love the finished effect. A contemporary update to a classic piece offering lots of very useful storage. We have styled the piece as a hall/ shoe cupboard but could easily be used in a bathroom for towels, toiletries etc or for storing lots of your favourite magazines. Very flexible storage that keeps its contents beautifully hidden away. The door has a button catch to keep the door closed.

A very pretty and versatile solid oak vintage cupboard. This could be a great hall cupboard for shoes and magazines, a bathroom cupboard for towels and toiletries, a bedroom piece etc etc. Use it in which ever room you need. It has been fully stripped and hand finished in Farrow & Ball’s Brassica colour with a protective clear wax finish for resilience against spills and wear. With a bottom cupboard section and two drawers it offer lots of really useful storage space.
‘Brassica’s rich lavender tones feel charming in light areas, but become much more sophisticated and grey in darker areas due to an underlying hint of black. Named after the group of plants which includes purple sprouting broccoli, this warm shade lifts cold feeling rooms without being overtly red. It is often combined with Elephant’s Breath and Skimming Stone for a rich, contemporary feel.’ – Farrow & Ball

A original Edwardian cupboard in beautifully aged and coloured oak. The cupboard sits on its original square cup brass castors and ceramic wheels, together with some beautiful original brass hinges. There is also pretty borderwork to the door, all hand carved. An original Victorian school cupboard in beautiful light oak. The back has been painted in Farrow and Ball Manor House Grey to give it an up to date, contemporary feel. The rest of the cupboard is in an original state, the outside benefitting from a clear varnish finish. This heavyweight piece dates to around 1880 – 1900 and is a great representation of the craftsmanship that went in to finishing the cabinet. The cupboard does split for transportation and moving to the room of your choice. We think it would make the perfect kitchen dresser, hall cupboard, or reading room statement piece. A very sought after item and given the right room and position this will gain LOTS of attention and admiration.

A original Edwardian music cabinet that we refinished in Farrow & Ball Off Black Estate Emulsion to the carcass. The cabinet has also received a final protective coat of clear wax. We love the finished effect. A contemporary update to a classic piece with pretty original handles and very useful storage. The four drawers all have drop down fronts that drop when you pull the drawers out. This would have been for easy access to the stored sheet music. The top has suffered from the very common drying out and some warping due to modern centrally heated houses. It is purely cosmetic and can only be noticed when viewed from the sides. Please see photographs for accurate representation. It now offers superb storage for magazines, newspapers, mail, iPad etc. We think it makes a very stylish and contemporary hall table, side table, lamp table and remote store, bedside table, bathroom cabinet etc etc.

The size, colour, weight and quality of oak are just perfect for the age and style of the piece. Each section weighs circa 50-60kgs, as a reflection of the quality of oak and craftsmanship that went in to finishing the cabinet. The top section retains original small drawers in pine with campaign style handles. We think it would make the perfect kitchen dresser, hall cupboard, or linen cupboard.
Given the right room and position this will gain LOTS of attention and admiration.

Internally the shelf height adjustment system is original, complete with shelf supports. The carcass, doors and internal shelves are all completely original.
