An original mid Century Cupboard in solid oak. An original solid oak cupboard dating from around the late 1920’s to early 1930’s. It came to us from a church in North Wales where it spent its whole life storing hymn books, Order of Services etc. We gave it a through clean, some tlc and gentle restoration to bring it back to its beautiful former glory. We think it would now make a superb kitchen dresser for crockery, glasses etc. Though it could also be a superb hall cupboard for shoes, bags, scarves and gloves? Or a beautiful bathroom cupboard for towels and toiletries? When something is as classically beautiful as this you can move it around your home over the years as you change room interiors and style themes.
The piece splits in to two sections that screw together, making delivery and moving it much easier.

A original Edwardian pot cupboard that we fully stripped and refinished in Little Greene Paint Company’s Tea with Florence Eggshell finish. We love the finished effect. A contemporary update to a classic piece with a pretty handle and useful clean storage inside. Internally there is one shelves at a fixed height and not adjustable (can be removed completely). It now makes a very stylish and contemporary side table, lamp table, magazine and remote store, bedside table, bathroom cabinet etc etc.

An original Victorian school cupboard in perfectly aged and coloured pitch pine. It dates from around the late 1880’s to 90’s and is is completely original condition. It is a very solid piece and much heavier than it may look. The doors lock with their original lock and key. A beautiful original Edwardian linen cabinet that we fully refinished in Farrow & Ball Hague Blue Estate Emulsion. The cabinet has also received a final protective coat of clear wax. We love the finished effect. A contemporary update to a classic piece with pretty original handles and very useful storage. We have styled the piece as a bathroom cabinet but it could easily be a gin cabinet, hall cupboard for shoes and/ or magazines etc etc. Very flexible storage that keeps its contents beautifully hidden away. The door is also lockable via the original lock and one key. The two drawers below offer even more storage. Both drawers run freely.

A superb mid Century glazed bookcase of impressive size and weight. It dates to around the mid to late 1960’s and is in completely original condition throughout. It is very well made form hard wood with original thick and heavy glass doors. All four doors are in excellent condition with no chips. All shelves are solid wood with their original supports which allow height adjustments, or can easily be removed. The top glass doors are also very easy to removed should you prefer and open top section with glazed bottom. It could be used as a bookcase, Drinks cabinet, display cabinet or a complete mix of all of them! You choose.
Beautiful clean lines and nice quality.
A classic and timeless piece.

An original 1920’s school cabinet saved from a school in Manchester. We rescued this cupboard from a Primary school that opened in 1921, where the cupboard has been since new. We bought the cupboard to give the school money towards their planned library refurbishment. It stored books, paperwork and paints originally. The size, colour, weight and quality of oak are just perfect for the age and style of the piece. This piece weighs circa 70kgs, as a reflection of the quality of oak and craftsmanship that went in to finishing the cabinet. It has most original brass-ware and internal door catch. The carcass, doors and internal shelves are all completely original.
We had to thoroughly clean and do some gentle restoration to the cupboard, to make it the condition it is today. We think it would make the perfect hall cupboard, or boot room cupboard. Though it could easily be a kitchen larder, bathroom towel store, bed linen cupboard etc etc.
Given the right room and position this will gain LOTS of attention and admiration.

183cm High, 133cm Wide, 45cm Max Depth (top cornice). Depth of main cupboard – 40cm.
It will require a dedicated two man delivery team due to the weight.

The cupboard has great colour from the solid oak with a top pull out shelf, three drawers below and a two door cupboard at the bottom.
