An original mid Century Tall Boy / Cupboard. It has been fully stripped and hand finished in Farrow & Ball’s Brassica colour with a protective clear wax finish for resilience against spills and wear. With a top cupboard section and four very useable drawers it offer lots of storage space.
‘Brassica’s rich lavender tones feel charming in light areas, but become much more sophisticated and grey in darker areas due to an underlying hint of black. Named after the group of plants which includes purple sprouting broccoli, this warm shade lifts cold feeling rooms without being overtly red. A very rare pair of Japanese bamboo ship’s deck chairs, finely made of bamboo slats, with folding armrests from the mid 20th century (circa late 1940’s-1950’s). The frame and seat slats are made completely from bamboo. They are fully functioning both in supporting weight for sitting and folding flat when required.
We adore the style, the colour and the patina on these chairs. They can be used as patio chairs, conservatory/ orangery but would also make perfect dress chairs for a bedroom, bathroom, hallway etc. Very stylish and very flexible.

A beautiful and very stylish late 19th Century Victorian glazed dresser / bookcase in original walnut finish. It dates from around 1880 to 1900 and has beautifully aged original cabinetry, glass, brass ware, locks and key for both sections. This came from a private Client home in SW London where it lived through three generations, owned by the same family. It is very stylish, classic and flexible in design and very flexible to match a vast array of room styles. The colour is superb having aged beautifully over the last 120 years+.
We think it would also make a fantastic individual bookcase/ dresser or kitchen / diner cabinet. The piece is tall though and does not split in to two sections for transportation. The bookcase stands at 231cm tall so please check your ceiling heights carefully before purchasing. This is an impressive size that will certainly commands lots of attention and only appreciate in value.
