£0FREE Shipping on this item within 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. Further afield areas will incur a surcharge to send via couriers.
A stunning example of a mid century low glazed book case or drinks cabinet by Minty of Oxford. Minty produced some really nice quality bookcases from the early 20th Century to the late 20th Century, usually in oak. This piece is made from beautiful mahogany with a stunning grain to the lower solid doors. The bookcase was one of three we purchased from a private owner. They bought the bookcases new in Wrexham in 1956 and had owned them and treasured them ever since. All shelves and doors are original and working exactly as they should be.
Very stylish and super on trend at the moment.

A beautiful example of an Art Deco glazed drinks cabinet in walnut. The piece dates from around the 1930’s with a classic Art Deco design to the doors. This was a ubiquitous design staple of the Art Deco period in the UK. We cleaned the cabinet, gently restored the walnut and walnut veneer finish then refinished the back in Farrow & Ball Wevet colourway. It refreshed the piece and gave it a contemporary twist to offer a beautiful drinks or display cabinet. The piece sits on a solid walnut frame with hand carved claw and ball feet. Internally the doors retain their locking bolts but the key is missing to the original lock.
What a perfectly gorgeous gin / drinks cabinet, bookcase, display cabinet – you choose!
