A stunning example of a mid century low glazed book case or drinks cabinet by Minty of Oxford. Minty produced some really nice quality bookcases from the early 20th Century to the late 20th Century, usually in a dark oak. This piece is made from beautifully coloured mid oak with a gorgeous grain. The bookcase was one of three we purchased from a private owner. They bought the bookcases new in Wrexham in 1956 and had owned them and treasured them ever since. All doors are original and working exactly as they should be.
Very stylish and super on trend at the moment.

A beautiful example of an Art Deco glazed drinks cabinet in oak. The piece dates from around the 1930’s with a classic Art Deco design to the doors. The weight of the cabinet is reflective of the solid wood used throughout. It would have been an expensive hand made piece when new. We cleaned the cabinet, gently restored the exterior then refinished the back in Farrow & Ball Wevet colourway. It refreshed the piece and gave it a contemporary twist to offer a beautiful drinks or display cabinet. The piece sits on a solid frame with Queen Anne Style legs. Internally the doors retain their locking bolts, together with the original lock and key.
