A beautiful example of an Art Deco glazed drinks cabinet in walnut veneer. The piece dates from around the late 1920’s to mid 1930’s with a classic Art Deco shield, or tea caddy design. The design was ubiquitous in the height of the Art Deco period in the United Kingdom at the time. It now has a beautifully aged colour and patina to the walnut grain. The doors both have locks with one key for both locks. The style of the cabinet is a true statement piece. It can be mixed easily with vintage or contemporary pieces. What a perfectly gorgeous gin / drinks cabinet, bookcase, display cabinet – you choose!
