A beautiful single pedestal tambour desk handmade in solid oak. It dates from around the late 1920’s is in completely original condition but fully cleaned and gently restored by us.
Beautifully aged and coloured English oak throughout. These desk are pretty hard to find in such good original condition and most are the much larger double pedestal desks – beautiful but a bit difficult to accommodate in most people’s homes. The top section can also be removed on this desk if you have a tight doorway or access space to consider. The tambour door works smoothly, as do all drawers and the little drawers inside the top section. The desk has lots of cute little pigeon holes to store your treasures and necessities. The roller door has its original lock and key – which is pretty rare indeed. When the door is pulled down and locked an internal locking mechanism also locks all drawers at the same time. Nice and secure.
A beautiful and hard to find desk that can be used as a decorative/ dress piece or as a fully functioning desk space.
The build and quality will mean these desks can only appreciate in value if looked after well.

A exceptional set of original mid century steel filing drawers in the best perfectly aged green colour. Produced by Roneo around the late 1950’s to mid 1960’s the drawers are in a superb colour and condition, with all original handles and label holders, working lock and key. The condition is exceptional for the age of the cabinet with no dents, major scratches, rust etc; which are all very common on these old filing cabinets. It is the perfect size for home or office with all suspension file rails still present and in tact. The cabinet and drawers have all been fully cleaned and the runners re-oiled. Superb condition for its age with plenty of industrial design and character. Industrial style and practicality all rolled in to one.

An excellent example of an original vintage low glazed bookcase/ unit/ sideboard in teak with original glass and solid sliding doors. Produced around the late 1960’s to early 1970’s this is a really clean and completely original example. It retains the metal Herbert Gibbs makers label to the rear. A great size, being deep enough to store magazines; superb colour with original adjustable shelves and original glass doors. With a slim cupboard to the left hand side it offers super flexible storage for the things you want to see and the more unsightly but necessary things tucked away.
It can easily be accommodated in to living, dining or bedroom styling. Fantastic and highly desirable mid century styling.

An original 1930’s plan chest in beautifully coloured and aged pitch pine. This gorgeous chest is presented in fantastic condition with all of its perfectly aged brass cup handles and label holders. The height lends itself perfectly for a large low coffee table or a TV stand with a real style difference. Internally the three drawers are all very clean for storing magazines, art work, collections, remote controls, ipads, laptops etc. Very useable and totally awesome.
The sides and back are all in very nice condition if you will be able to see all four sides (e.g. in the middle of the room as a coffee table).

An original, circa laye 1940’s to early 1950’s, plan chest. This gorgeous chest is presented in its super condition with gorgeously rich colouring. It is in very good condition for its age and now offers a unique large coffee table suggestion, or a superb TV stand. The frame, drawers and superb brass hardware are all original but we added a new top, as the original one was stained and warped beyond repair. Three large drawers means lots of storage for magazines, ipads, laptops, remote controls etc. All very neat and tidy with a superb mid century style. Very on trend currently.
The sides and back are all in very nice condition if you will be able to see all four sides (e.g. in the middle of the room as a coffee table). All three drawers are very clean internally and run exactly as they should.

An original, circa late 1920’s Bankers lamp in brass with green glass shade. Beautiful quality and age. The lamp is brass tubed to the upper section with a beautifully patterned base. The green shade is in excellent condition for the age with no chips or cracks and only very minor ‘nibbles’ to the edges of the shade (only visible form the underside). The arm is movable by loosening the thumb screw and the shade swivels too. Easily enabling you to direct the light to exactly where you want it. It would make a beautiful desk lamp, bedside lamp or side table lamp – in whichever room you choose (excluding the bathroom!) 🙂

A very stylish 1950’s sideboard in teak by Nathan. This sideboard has some fantastic 1950’s style lines and the perfect mid century base with splayed ‘rocket’ legs in beech. Offering lots of very useful and flexible storage but not being too big to able able to easily accommodate at home. Nathan furniture was formed in 1916 and this is an early mid century piece of theirs, denoted by the style of the pinned metal badge. With beautiful teak grain and lots of storage these mid century sideboards have exploded in popularity – and we totally get why!
