A simply stunning Edwardian chest of drawers for a table top. These beautiful drawers are solid oak throughout and probably weigh 40-50kgs. They came from a church and are amazing quality. The top is sloping which would afforded them the option of using as a lectern for services. They now offer a superbly decorative piece and plenty of storage within the nine drawers and two lift up top compartments. Completely original throughout, we simply gave them a clean and some gentle restoration to the colour and finish to remove some old dirt and staining. Just look at the colour and those beautiful handles too!
This chest will look perfect in almost any room you choose. It’s a real keeper!

A very cute and stylish teak hall bench with shelves, dating from the 1960’s. It is constructed from solid teak throughout. The piece is very well put together, reflecting some quality handmade construction of all joint work. Most probably G Plan but we can not find the manufacturers label (these stickers often fall off) but it is very much of the G Plan style. The bench also has storage on the side. The seat pad has been reupholstered in a gorgeous plush teal colour to really make it pop and bring it in to 2021.
We adore the size, design, proportions and colour. A classic but very stylish piece for your home and very on trend at the moment with the mid century revival being so popular.

A very stylish and solid mid century teachers desk handmade in teak. It was originally supplied to Moss Partners and dated either 1939 or 1959 (we can’t quite make the stamp out). It is in completely original condition but fully cleaned and gently restored by us. It presents itself in a beautiful coloured teak with superb original patina and a really generous work surface for home use. The bottom right hand drawer is a double height deep filing type drawer for extra storage, still retaining its wooden dividers.
English quality mid Century construction with dovetails joints. The drawer internals are also very clean.
The build and quality will mean these desks can only appreciate in value if looked after well.
Please double check all measurements to ensure it will pass through doors, turn corners, stairs etc to get to the room of your choice.

A truly stunning pair of cinema seats dating from the late 1920’s to mid 1930’s. They were made by The Bennett Seating Co. in Louisville, Kentucky. We purchased them from a private client that bought them in the US when they loved there. The seats are totally original and in outstanding condition for the age of the piece. We fully stripped the seats and supports to give the whole frame a clean and re-oil. We also sanded and gently restored the seats to bring out their colour and perfectly aged patina from all the years of use. We adore these! Try finding another pair?
They now make a beautiful decorative item that can be used in almost any room you choose. They are popular as seats in a hallway due to them not taking up much width and the ability to fold thee seats up if needs be.

An excellent example of an original mid century double height glazed bookcase/ unit produced by Herbert E Gibbs (with authenticity plate) . Produced in the 1960’s this is solid teak, completely original and in excellent condition. It has both of its original sliding glass doors and internal adjustable shelves. The frame shows the quality of teak used and the beautiful handmade craftsmanship from the dovetail joints. It all sits on very stylish legs to give it a superb mid century classic style, that is so highly desirable at the moment. There is one old circular surface mark to the top. It offers lots of flexible storage capabilities as a bookcase, sideboard, drinks cabinet etc. It can easily be accommodated in to living or bedroom styling. The shelves are easily adjustable and removable by moving the supports.

A beautiful and rare set of Architect’s/ Plan Drawers in oak. They would have been made in the 1950’s from solid oak and oak veneer. The carcass is heavy and substantial being finished in oak veneer as is exactly the norm with these plan chests form this era. The drawer fronts and handles are made from solid oak. The draw liners are pine. It is a stunning piece and very hard to find full chest in such amazing original condition. The colour and patina on these drawers are just perfect. The drawers are sized to hold A0 paper but the chest are now so popular as a statement piece they can be used in whichever room you choose and store whatever you wish.
The chest does split in to three sections (bottom plinth, three drawer bottom section and three drawer upper section) for easier transportation and locating to the position you wish.
This piece is in great original condition, very clean, structurally solid with just a few old marks and one old veneer repair to the top. Please see photographs for full condition and just ask if you have any questions. The top drawer has a much later inner section added. It is well made form oak with a green baize liner base. The liner is not fixed and can easily be lifted out should you wish to have the full drawer size available.

A very clean set of three vintage filing drawers. The cabinet dates from around the late 1970’s to mid 1980’s. It is presented in oak and oak veneer with pine drawer internals. The brass handles and label holders are original and ageing very nicely. Each drawer has the side sliding rails already fitted for A4 suspension files. The cabinet also has a working lock and two keys. Very nice design and colour with a not too large size for home or study use. We love the overall look of these drawers and they will age perfectly if looked after well.
