An excellent example of an original mid century drinks cabinet in Teak. Produced in the 1960’s by Gibbs this is completely original and in super condition. The cabinet retains its original glass shelves, glass sliding doors and bottom teak doors. The shelf is height adjustable or easily removable. The design is unusual having a much deeper bottom than top. Perfect for storing plenty of bottles in the bottom, with smaller bottles or glasses in the top section – as would have been the original design. It can of course be used as a display cabinet, collectables, book and magazine store etc.
Fantastic and highly desirable mid century styling. What a fantastic place to store your favourite tipple!

This gym bench dates to around the mid 1950’s. It is in super original condition with perfectly aged patina to the bench seat top and steel frame. A really good length and easily able to seat four. These benches look superb on their own or with shoe baskets underneath and/ or vintage coat hooks above. This is solid, 100% original and a superb old school styling statement piece.
A perfect way of tidying up a hallway or entrance whilst adding a real style statement. Very stylish and on trend!

This is a very handsome example of a Minty Bookcase in a rich Walnut finish, dating from the late 1930’s to mid 1940’s. The top section has a Minty of Oxford label, to prove it’s authenticity. Used in legal offices, accountants etc Minty was one of the finest makers of these types of bookcases. This piece has four stacking sections in graduated heights with a deep bottom section for storage of larger books and items. Each section retains the original glass. There is also a very unusual top compartment with original door and handle. We have never seen this design before. Perfect for hiding away mail or things that aren’t great o look at. Each section can be taken apart for easy transportation or relocation to another room. A great addition to any home!
Very on trend at the moment and versatile in its use.

A gorgeous and very useful mid century stacking barristers bookcase in a walnut veneer finish. The bookcase comes in four sections for ease of transportation and positioning. It is super handy to have a solid door on one of the sections for hiding the less slightly but necessary things. The solid section could be placed above one of the glass sections if you preferred a different order. All three doors are up and over doors and all run really easily. The sections are also nice and tall for storing larger books, bottles, etc. There is also an additional drawer at the bottom. All original glass and cue brass handles. It probably dates to the 1960’s and is presented in very good original condition throughout.
Very stylish and super practical!

A beautiful example of an original antique gin cabinet or display case. The cabinet is presented in totally original condition throughout the frame, base, doors and glass. The oak has aged perfectly to give a beautiful antique patina. The piece has some beautiful carving detail to the door edge and is a very elegant design throughout. Most probably early Edwardian in age dating form the early part of the 20th Century. The cabinet retains its original brass ware, with locking bolts to the left door, original hinges and door latch, together with working lock and one key. We refinished the back in Farrow & Ball Wevet to really freshen the piece up and bring in in to 2021 trends. The top does separate easily form the base for transportation and positioning.
We adore the colour and age of the piece, the quality of the oak and the stunning carved pattern to the door. We think it makes a beautiful gin cabinet but of course can be a bookcase, display cabinet or other drinks cabinet.

A very clean and well preserved set of original mid century steel filing drawers. They come in the best aged green colour. Produced by Howdens in the 1960’s the drawers are in a superb colour and condition, with all original handles and label holders. The condition is exceptional for the age of the cabinet with no dents, major scratches, rust etc; which are all very common on these old filing cabinets. It is the perfect size for home or office with all drawers ready for new A4 suspension files that fit on the drawer sides as sliding rails. The cabinet and drawers have all been fully cleaned and the runners re-oiled. Superb condition for its age with plenty of industrial design and character. Industrial style and practicality all rolled in to one.

A very unique and super stylish industrial design desk. The desk came to us with a rotten top and covered in terrible creamy coloured gloss paint. We fully stripped all of the sides of the pedestal and the legs. We managed to save some original ivory paint to the front facias of the two drawers. We also replaced the top with a brand new piece of Swedish birch ply and coated it in satin varnish for protection and resistance to spills etc. We love the finished fusion look. Part stripped, a splash of colour and retention of old paint together with a fresh Swedish birch top offering a generous and very clean work surface. Both drawers are clean and run freely. A superb blend of many good things making this desk completely unique and not something you could buy in the high street shops anywhere.
These mid Century industrial desk are highly sought after. With the condition and size of this desk it is perfect for home or home office where space is a consideration. Not too big to have to worry about accommodating it but plenty big enough for a fully functioning desk.
We love the overall look and style. Mid Century industrial styling at the top of its game!

An original and rare Type 75 Anglepoise lamp in its original deep orange/ scarlet red paint colour. We have never had one in this colour in stock, or even seen one on our travels and buying trips before. Herbert Terry only produced the Type 75 for Anglepoise from 1968 until 1973 when Angleposie replaced it with the Type 90 lamp (1973 to 1985). A very nicely styled and aged original lamp in a fantastic colour and original vintage condition. The condition is very good for its age. It doe shave some pitting to the base, which can be rotate to the back when positioning the lamp. There are also a few areas of missing paint to the shade rim and one arm. Still very good for the age of the lamp but please see all photographs for an accurate representation of its condition. The shade is still in its complete original shape with no dings to the rim to misshape the circle. The lamp also has the stamp of the Anglepoise Trademark on the base fork uprights (see photographs) to prove its heritage and authenticity. The other side of the base of the lamp proves it was manufactured at the Herbert Terry manufacturing plant in Redditch.
Very popular vintage lamps that sell really quickly – and we completely understand why. They look fantastic already but will just keep getting better with time and will certainly appreciate in value.
