£375FREE UK Mainland Delivery on this stool.
This is an exceptional quality antique swivel piano stool made by the Chas Parker Co (1832-1975). Charles Parker first started making Piano stools, Art Brass, Lamps and guns around 1832 in Meriden, Connecticut, USA. They were world renowned for their quality hand made products and quickly became very highly sought after in the USA. They latterly appeared in both the Texas and Brooklyn Museums for their detailed brass work. This stool is presented in outstanding original condition in solid mahogany, which has aged perfectly to a very warm and rich colour. The turning on the stool is sharp and of the highest quality with fully working swivel and height adjustment. The colour and patina are exactly as you would want. The feet are exceptional too, being cast bronze griffin claws with feather detail to the upper leg portion. The griffin claws grip the original glass ball feet, which the stool rest upon. An all round beautiful antique stool that needs to be admired and treasured. One glass ball has a chip (as photographed).
The stools by Chas Parker are highly collectible in the US and sell for over £300 plus taxes and shipping (if you can find one). Or over £600-800 in the UK (1st Dibs)

£275FREE UK Mainland Shipping on this item within approximately 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. Some more remote and rural locations will incur a charge.
These gym benches date to around the mid to late 1980’s and came to us straight from a school in Leicestershire. A good size in both length and depth means the shoe tray can comfortably fit adult size shoes, as well as taller ankle boots. Steel legs and tray with a good solid beech slatted top means the bench has a nice solid weight and feel to it – not like modern reproductions. These benches already look great but just age up even better.
The benches have all the superb old school styling you could want and a really good size. A perfect way of tidying up a hallway or entrance whilst adding a real style statement. We have a number available in this size, one at 240cm width and one at 260cm width. If you wanted a bespoke width please get in touch.
We also have lot of original mid century gym hooks in stock (original black or chrome ones from the 1970’s and 80’s, mid Century painted ones, mid Century stripped ones, numbered, on back boards etc. etc.). If you would like a board with original gym hooks on, just drop us a message with your requirements.
