A very stylish and solid mid century teachers desk handmade in oak. It dates from around the late 1950’s to mid 1960’s and is in completely original condition but fully cleaned and gently restored by us. It presents itself in a beautiful coloured oak with superb original patina and a really generous work surface for home use. With six free running drawers there is also a huge amount of very useful storage space. The bottom right hand drawer is a double height deep filing type drawer for extra storage.
English oak with quality dovetails joints to all drawers with original wooden drawer runners. The drawer internals are also very clean.
The build and quality will mean these desks can only appreciate in value if looked after well.
Please double check all measurements to ensure it will pass through doors, turn corners, stairs etc to get to the room of your choice. The top does remove but it only makes the desk around 3cm smaller.

A beautiful and very stylish late 19th Century Victorian glazed dresser / bookcase in original walnut finish. It dates from around 1880 to 1900 and has beautifully aged original cabinetry, glass, brass ware, locks and key for both sections. This came from a private Client home in SW London where it lived through three generations, owned by the same family. It is very stylish, classic and flexible in design and very flexible to match a vast array of room styles. The colour is superb having aged beautifully over the last 120 years+.
We think it would also make a fantastic individual bookcase/ dresser or kitchen / diner cabinet. The piece is tall though and does not split in to two sections for transportation. The bookcase stands at 231cm tall so please check your ceiling heights carefully before purchasing. This is an impressive size that will certainly commands lots of attention and only appreciate in value.
