An original school changing/ gym bench with hooks above. Dating from the 1960’s it came from Mount Kelly private school in Tavistock, Devon. We think it is a fantastic Retro/ Oldskool styling piece for your home. With original shoe baskets, bench top, hooks board and brass name plates it has all the character and style of a genuine mid Century/ vintage piece.
We love pieces that are original, have a story/ provenance, still represent a true style statement and also offer a practical solution for modern living. All the boxes ticked in one fantastic piece. Both the wood and metalwork have been refinished to give a fantastic piece, with all the character still remaining. The hooks above are original, in excellent condition and have an almost Art Deco shape/ design to them. Very unusual actually.

A beautiful and very stylish late 19th Century Victorian glazed dresser / bookcase in original walnut finish. It dates from around 1880 to 1900 and has beautifully aged original cabinetry, glass, brass ware, locks and key for both sections. This came from a private Client home in SW London where it lived through three generations, owned by the same family. It is very stylish, classic and flexible in design and very flexible to match a vast array of room styles. The colour is superb having aged beautifully over the last 120 years+.
We think it would also make a fantastic individual bookcase/ dresser or kitchen / diner cabinet. The piece is tall though and does not split in to two sections for transportation. The bookcase stands at 231cm tall so please check your ceiling heights carefully before purchasing. This is an impressive size that will certainly commands lots of attention and only appreciate in value.
