1960’s Old School Cupboard by Dalescraft (pair avaiable)

£395

FREE Ground Floor Delivery on this item. Some more remote and rural locations will incur a charge.

An original school cabinet saved from a school in Frodsham, Cheshire. It dates from around the early 1960’s and in is made from beech frame and teak, giving it a nice solid feel and weight. It was in a sorry state when we bought it so we stripped it back, oiled it, sympathetically colour matched the wood colour, then refinished in a satin sheen finish top coat. We have a matching pair available.

We adore the simplicity of the design and how flexible the cupboard is. It makes a perfect hall cupboard for shoes, boots, bags etc or a bookcase, vinyl LP store, magazine tidy, drinks cabinet etc etc. The solid teak shelf inside is fully adjustable via the original brass support system (see photograph). The doors also retain their original brass bolts and latches.

Old school styling meets uber practicality.
