An original mid century hand painted fair ground sign dating from around the late 1950’s to mid 1960’s. It would have been part of a fairground ride in its hey day. It is reputedly from an amusement park on the East cost of Lincolnshire, though we found it in South Devon! Constructed form fibreglass it tells its full story of use, repair, re-painting etc. Many decades of paint and weather wear are evident, giving it fantastic originality and authenticity. A cheeky chap waiting for the perfect space to hang and bring many a smile again.
