A beautiful chest of early 20th Century drawers dating from around the early 1900’s to 1930. They are presented in a beautifully aged finish with stunning handles. Very French in their design, reminiscent of popular 18th century design. All drawers are very well made with pin dovetail joints to the sides. The drawer internals are very clean and the whole chest is completely solid and free from any wobbles or loose joints. There are some very common shrinkage splits to the sides; due to modern central heating. Aside from the side splits the drawers are in excellent antique condition. Beautiful colour, patina and French lines.
This chest will look perfect in almost any room you choose. It’s a real keeper!

A beautiful chest of early 20th Century drawers dating from around the early 1900’s to 1920. They are presented in a beautifully aged rich walnut finish and are in super original condition throughout. The drawers are configured in a set of two over three very clean and solid drawers. The handles are all original with a very Arts & Crafts style. All drawers are very well made with pin dovetail joints to the sides. The drawer internals are very clean and the whole chest is completely solid and free form any wobbles or loose joints. The style is very much Arts & Crafts with some very sharp carving detail, reflecting the quality of hand made craftsmanship. They are beautifully and classically designed and will blend with many interior styles and colour schemes.
This chest will look perfect in almost any room you choose. It’s a real keeper!

A beautiful chest of mid Victorian drawers dating from around the 1860’s. They are presented in a beautifully aged flame mahogany finish and are in original condition throughout. The drawers are configured in a graduated set of four drawers with all original handles in exceptional condition. All drawers have a working lock and one key that fits all drawers. All drawers are very well made with pin dovetail joints to the sides and are solid in construction. The drawer internals are exceptionally clean and the whole chest is completely solid and free form any wobbles or loose joints. There a re a few areas where small sections of veneer are missing. Perfectly normal for a piece of this age. Please see all photographs and just ask if you would like further photographs or have any questions over the condition. The style is classically Victorian but the size is perfect – offering lots of deep storage but in a chest not too over poweringly large. They are classically designed and will blend with many interior styles and colour schemes.

A truly stunning and unusual chest of Georgian drawers dating from around the late 1700’s to early 1800’s. They are presented in a beautifully coloured solid oak finish with outstanding radial cut oak grain showing. The chest is a very heavy piece reflecting the quality of oak used and the skilled craftsmanship in the solid wood carpentry throughout. The drawers are configured in a graduated set of two over three drawers with an unusual array of smaller drawers down the sides, behind each panel. The brass handles and escutcheons have real weight and presence. Typical Georgina design. The four central drawers have locks and one key for all drawers. The key does not lock the two side panels, which enclose the small drawers.
The piece shows some small old repairs repair which have all been done well and colour blended. Perfectly normal for a piece of this age. The style is classically Georgian but we have no seen a configuration of drawers like this before. It seems to blend a chest of drawers with a Wellington chest. They are beautifully and classically designed and will blend with many interior styles and colour schemes.

A beautiful heavy chest of drawers dating from around the 1910’s to 1920’s. They came all the way from Cape Town in South Africa, having been owned by three generations of the same family since they were new. They are presented in a beautifully aged hardwood finish and are in original condition throughout. The drawers are configured in a set of eight free running drawers of various sizes and depths, complete with working locks and a key to all drawers. All drawers are very well made with dovetail joints to the sides and are solid in construction. The drawer internals are very clean and the whole chest is completely solid and free from any wobbles or loose joints. The condition is very good for the age with no deep scratches or ‘damage’ just some minimal wear to the top surface – purely cosmetic. All drawers are very well made with dovetail joints to the sides and are solid in construction. The drawer internals are very clean and the whole chest is completely solid and free form any wobbles or loose joints. The top shows an old crack repair which has been done well and colour blended very well. There are also residual marks to the top from all of the years of use. Perfectly normal for a piece of this age. Not deep scratches or ‘damage’ but cosmetic wear.
