A very elegant and stylish Edwardian astragal glazed cabinet in super condition. The piece dates from around 1900-1920 and is presented in a beautiful refurbished condition. The glass in the doors is all original as are the internal brass bolts, complete with original working lock and key. The back of the cabinet and shelves have been refinished in Farrow & Ball Wevet to really freshen up the piece and provide a great backdrop for displaying your chosen items. We think it would make a superb bookcase, drinks cabinet, display cabinet etc.

A very chic and stylish astragal glazed cabinet in super condition. The piece dates from around the mid Century and is presented in beautiful refurbished condition. The glass in the doors is all original. There is also a later added working lock and key. The back of the cabinet has been refinished in Farrow & Ball Wevet to really freshen up the piece and provide a great backdrop for displaying your chosen items. Both shelves are very flexible in their height adjustment, moveable in circa 1cm increments form the side support system (see photo). We think it would make a superb bookcase, drinks cabinet, display cabinet etc.

A beautiful tall astragal glazed cabinet in super condition. The piece dates from around 1900-20 and is presented in beautiful refurbished condition. The glass in the doors is all original, as are the internal brass sliding bolts, working lock and key. There is also some beautiful carved Corinthian style cornice work to the top . The back of the cabinet has been refinished in Farrow & Ball Wevet to really freshen up the piece and provide a great backdrop for displaying your chosen items. We think it would make a superb bookcase, drinks cabinet, bathroom towel cupboard etc. You decide!

A beautiful example of an Art Deco glazed drinks cabinet in oak. The piece dates from around the 1930’s with a classic Art Deco design to the doors. The weight of the cabinet is reflective of the solid wood used throughout. It would have been an expensive hand made piece when new. We cleaned the cabinet, gently restored the exterior then refinished the back in Farrow & Ball Wevet colourway. It refreshed the piece and gave it a contemporary twist to offer a beautiful drinks or display cabinet. The piece sits on a solid frame with Queen Anne Style legs. Internally the doors retain their locking bolts, together with the original lock and key.

The interior of the cabinet has been refinished in Farrow & Ball Wevet to the rear and all shelves. We think it would make a superb bookcase, drinks cabinet, bathroom towel cupboard etc. You decide!

This was a ubiquitous design staple of the Art Deco period in the UK. We cleaned the cabinet, gently restored the walnut and walnut veneer finish then refinished the back in Farrow & Ball Wevet colourway. It refreshed the piece and gave it a contemporary twist to offer a beautiful drinks or display cabinet. The piece sits on a solid walnut frame with hand carved claw and ball feet. Internally the doors retain their locking bolts but the key is missing to the original lock.

A beautiful quality example of an original astragal glazed drinks cabinet in mahogany. The piece dates from the mid Century and is presented in a beautiful grain and original finish. There are so many signs that tell you of the high quality of this piece – most notably:-
The vertical beads between the doors are made of good quality brass, not the usual wood
The quality of the carving to the claw feet and shoulders of the cabriole legs
The detail and sharpness to the carving of the top plinth
The quality of heavy gauge brass used for the internal bolts
Each individual pane of glass has been fixed in place
Even the escutcheons have detail to them
The backs of the glazed sections have been stripped and refinished in Farrow & Ball Wevet for a more contemporary look. The cabinet sits on beautiful legs.

A gorgeous astragal glazed drinks cabinet. The piece dates from around the 1930’s and is presented in a beautiful design and colour. The glass in the doors is all original and glazed piece by piece. The shelves are easily height adjustable by moving the shelf support pegs. The cabinet sits on elegant Queen Anne style legs. The colouring is rich and warm; not too dark or heavy. It was originally supplied by Lamertons Department Store in Ealing, London, W5. They used ponies and carts to deliver their homewares in and around London. How fabulous?
We re-finished the back in Farrow & Ball Wevet eggshell. This gave the piece a contemporary facelift to bring it bang on trend for 2023. What a perfectly gorgeous gin / drinks cabinet?
