£0FREE Shipping on this item. More remote and rural locations will incur a charge.
An original and exceptional antique Swedish Carpenter’s Bench, dating from the late 19th Century. An original rustic piece with a beautiful colour and patina. Totally original condition with some beautiful solid carpentry to the joint work. Two original wooden vices are still fully operational.
We have seen a few of these workbenches but very very rarely are they in this good condition to the top. They are normally considerably uneven, well worn from the work, saw cuts, chop marks etc. The rustic appeal from these benches means they are used at home as kitchen islands, console tables, fruit and vegetable stands etc. In a commercial environment they make amazing talking points for shop displays, waiter stations, cutlery stand etc.
Try and find another in this condition anywhere near this price…….
Dimensions:
Bench Height 86cm
184cm Wide (max)
96cm Deep (max, including front vice), 57.5cm Main bench top depth
