£0FREE Two man ground floor delivery on this item within approximately 10 days. Some more remote areas will incur a charge.
A very stylish and chic antique sideboard with lots of style and storage. This sideboard dates from around 1910-1930 and is very clearly French in its design and lines. It is a very well made piece from solid wood and the weight fully reflects the quality hand made construction. There has been some true craftsmanship in being able to achieve the sweeping lines, the carving work to the corbels and the turned feet. The drawers retain their original brass handles with beautiful intricate design. The two bottom drawers are some of the deepest we have come across! With seven drawers in total there is so much storage space to hide away all the necessary but unsightly things you need. All drawers run freely, open and close fully.
We fully refinished the sideboard in Farrow & Ball Hague Blue then finished with Annie Sloan clear furniture wax for a protective finish.
Fantastically chic storage with genuine character and contemporary styling. A solid purchase that will last for decades.

An original school cabinet that came from Kings College London. It originally dates from the late 1920’s to mid 1930’s. It was owned by a senior professor of Cardiology that pioneered the chemicals used to safely stop the heart whilst heart surgery is performed. He purchased the cupboards from Kings College and had them shipped to his home. They have been cleaned and re-varnished at some point but have lost none of their original beautiful oak grain, patina and colour. The brass drawer label holders are original, along with the escutcheons. The drawers are all completely original and fully in tact. The professor has new liners cut that sit on top of the original bottoms of the drawers – purely for aesthetics and cleanliness. The lower brass knobs were a later addition.
The size, colour, weight and quality of oak just shines through. This piece weighs circa 70kgs, as a reflection of the quality of oak and craftsmanship that went in to finishing the cabinet.

£0FREE Shipping on this item within 10 working days to most areas. More remote and rural locations will incur a charge.
An original early 20th Century French marble top wash stand. We acquired this from a private buyer that purchased the piece in an antique store in Paris, whilst living there. It is a large piece of impressive scale and with many touches of quality. The weight of the piece, together with the quality of the inlaid veneer and the original brass ware all point to an expensive item when new. It would date to around 1910-20’s. Produced from a mixture of fruit and satinwood it has many fine touches of veneer work – including the central octagonal door centre pieces and the border work to the doors and drawers. With heavy weight original brassware displaying reed and ribbon pattern to the drawer handles and also the lower door drop handles. A beautiful piece that would not have to be used as a wash stand or in a bathroom. It would equally make a beautiful hall table, living room sideboard etc. The rear upstand easily removes by four screws if you prefer a simpler finish to the top to give it more of a sideboard/ console table look.
With storage in two drawers and a deep bottom cupboard (removal or height adjustable shelf) it offers plenty of very useful and stylish storage.
Dimensions:
131.5cm High (top of rear upstand), 102cm High (marble top), 111.5cm Max width, 52.5cm Max Depth

£0FREE One man Ground Floor Delivery on this item within 10 working days generally. Some more remote and rural locations will incur a charge.
An original solid oak cupboard with 27 gorgeous drawers to the upper section. It is difficult to date this piece exactly but we estimate it was hand made in the 1940’s to 1950’s in an Edwardian/ Art Deco style. It is very well made from solid oak to the outer frame and doors, with mahogany drawers in the top section. All of the drawers have quality dovetail joints, again reflecting the quality of the piece when made. We adore the drawers, and the cute handles to all of the drawers. The drawers are very clean inside. The bottom cupboard also offers lots of really useful storage accessed via the two lower doors. There is even a shallow storage section to the very top, accessed by the hinged top.
It offers a very different, fine quality statement piece. For somebody that also needs lots of shallow drawers (jewellery? make up?) it can also be a perfect storage solution. Definitely an investment piece that will only appreciate in value.
Dimensions:
135cm High
Top section – 68cm wide, 25.5cm deep
Bottom section – 72.5cm wide, 28cm deep
Drawers of various widths, all are 4cm max internal storage height
