A beautiful early 20th Century Edwardian glazed dresser / bookcase in burr walnut. It dates from around 1910 to 1920 and has original cabinetry, glass, handles, and internal bolts. It is clearly a quality piece defined by the quality of book matched burr walnut used on the doors and the weight of the piece. We fully cleaned and gently restored the whole exterior then repainted the top internal section with Farrow & Ball Wevet colour paint. This has given the piece the mix of antique, rustic and contemporary. It is very stylish, subtle in design and very flexible in the colours – to match a vast array of room palletes. The colour is superb having aged beautifully over the last 100 years+. For the age this is in truly exceptional condition. There will be some small cosmetic marks on the piece, please check all photographs and just ask if you have any further questions over the condition.
We think it makes a fantastic and individual kitchen / diner cabinet or a bookcase/ dresser. The piece splits in to two sections for ease of transportation and siting.

£0FREE Two man ground floor delivery on this item within approximately 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. Further afield areas will incur a surcharge to send via couriers.
A very elegantly designed Edwardian sideboard with lots of chic style and storage. This sideboard dates from around 1900-1920 and is very clearly Edwardian in its design and lines. It came to us in a pretty poor state and a very old tired brown finish. It has now been given a whole new lease of life with a full strip and refinish in Farrow & Ball Railings colourway, with a clear wax protective finish. The internals have been left as original as possible to show the original age and authenticity of the piece but all of the internals have been fully cleaned.
The sideboard is a chic and contemporary update to a classic antique. With so much storage and style it is a unique piece ready to be loved by a new owner.

A beautifully presented mid 19th Century bookcase/ dresser in exceptional original condition. It dates from around 1850 to 1870. The bookcase has a really good weight and certainly requires two strong people to lift it. The glass is original, as are the shelves, the brass internal bolts, lock and escutcheon. We adore the impressive size and proportions – a real statement piece but not too big to become over dominant in a room. The curves and lines show the absolute top class hand craftsmanship of the original makers. Very hard to find pieces of this age in such genuine original condition. A true treasure to cherish and show off whatever you choose inside.

£0FREE Ground Floor Shipping on this piece within approximately 150 miles of Cambridgeshire. More remote and rural locations will incur a charge.
A simply stunning early 20th Century bookcase/ dresser in beautiful oak. It dates from around 1900 to 1920 and came to us from Cambridge University Psychology Department, where it spent its whole life. The external finish is in its original beautifully aged and coloured oak. There are also some superb hand carvings to the lower door panels. Depicting academia carvings of books and quills – most likely a bespoke commission piece for the university. Internally the top section shelves are all height adjustable so that the distance between the shelves can be altered to your needs. All of the glass is original, as are the beautifully aged brass handles. The locks work and there is one key. The photographs show two shelves in the top section but the are three for each side. It will be supplied with all three shelves.
The piece was always used as a bookcase but clearly now would also make a beautiful dresser in a kitchen, dining room, living room etc. Rarely do we see pieces that that make us stop in our tracks to admire but this is certainly one of those pieces. The top and bottom sections do split for easier transportation and siting.
Dimensions: 238cm High, 183cm Max Width, 50cm Depth (bottom section), 30cm Depth (top section, excluding top cornice).

£0FREE Ground Floor delivery on this piece within approximately 150 miles of Cambridgeshire. Further afield locations will incur a surcharge to send via furniture couriers.
An original turn of the 20th Century Armoire, made from mahogany with glazed doors. A beautiful design with decorative corbels and glass trim finishing. The armoire has been stripped, refurbished, painted in Farrow & Ball Off Black to the exterior and Shaded White to the interior. Both paint finishes are flat matt. The glass in the doors is original too.
The repainting has kept all of the original detailed design work but brought the piece in to the Contemporary market. A beautiful colour scheme with the age and style of the original piece. The armoire is of a great size to be easily able to accommodate for most people. Not incredibly tall or wide, but very well proportioned. The lower solid sections of the doors, together with the bottom drawer mean you can show off the pretty things and hide the necessary (but not so pretty) things. The shelves are also height adjustable.
We adore this!
Dimensions: 185cm Max. Height, 102cm Wide, 43cm Deep

£0FREE Two man ground floor delivery on this item within approximately 10 days. Some more remote areas will incur a charge.
A classically lined and chic antique sideboard with lots of style and storage. This sideboard dates from around 1850-70 and is very clearly late Georgian to early Victorian in its design and lines. Unfortunately it came to us with many issues that needed to be repaired and corrected. It still retains some of the signs of its age and use over the last 150 years+, such as the repaired split down the centre of the left hand cupboard door. We wanted to keep the piece as original as we could so filled and sanded and painted some of its scars. It has now been given a whole new lease of life with a full strip and refinish in Farrow & Ball Off Black colourway. The internals have been left as original as possible to show the original age and authenticity of the piece.
The sideboard is a chic and contemporary update to a classic antique. With so much storage and style it is a unique piece ready to be loved by a new owner.
We fully refinished the sideboard in Farrow & Ball Off Black then finished with clear furniture wax for a protective finish.
Dimensions: 89cm High, 183cm Wide, 55cm Max Depth (narrows to the centre)
