A very stylish and superbly coloured mid Century desk in oak. We gently renovated the desk to restore it to its best aged condition. It has come up fantastically with a beautifully rich aged oak finish. The desk is nice and compact for home, where space, or access, is a little tight. Although compact the desk offers a generous and very usable work surface space, together with three good sized clean drawers and a pull out shelf for drinks, mouse mat etc. A super desk having all the style of a great mid Century desk (circa 1940-1950’s).

Mid Century Teacher’s Desk in Beautiful Teak by Burndale
£0FREE Delivery on this piece within approximately 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. More remote and rural locations will incur a charge.
A very stylish mid century teacher’s desk in beautifully grained and coloured teak. It dates from around the late 1950’s to early 1960’s and is in beautiful condition, fully cleaned and gently restored by us. This desk came to us from a private owner in Lincolnshire. It is presented in a beautifully aged colour and patina with a really nicely sized work surface for home use. The desk looks almost as good form the back as it does from the front – mainly due to the very carefully selected teak grain giving such incredible uniformity! The drawers are all dove tail jointed and run very freely. The bottom right hand drawer is a double height filing drawer. There are two pull out shelves to the top of both pedestals – one just a shelf, the other containing the original plastic stationery tray stamped with the Burndale maker’s mark.
A super looking desk, very useable for regular working with such a generous work surface and all of that storage.
Overall Dimensions: 76.5cm High, 136cm Wide, 75cm Deep
Kneehole: 67cm height clearance, 48cm wide

Compact 1960’s Desk by Abbess with removable legs
£0FREE Delivery on this desk within approximately 130 miles of Cambridgeshire. Further afield areas will incur a surcharge to send via couriers.
A very cute and stylish desk table by Abbess. Made from a beautifully rich Walnut and walnut veneer it could be used as a desk, if space is tight, or a cute dressing table? The legs even reomve with four simple wing nuts if your access pace is tight. It could equally be a great desk for a child or teen. Made around the late 1960’s to early 1970’s it retains the Abbess label inside the drawer and is stamped to the bottom of the drawer. Superb Retro styling and a great colour. There are cosmetic marks to the top, as to be expected but none are deep or anoything other than useage marks over the years. Very small indeed but please see photographs for an accurate representation.

1960’s Double Pedestal Teak Desk
£0FREE Delivery on this piece within approximately 150 miles of Cambridgeshire. More remote and rural locations will incur a charge.
A very stylish and superbly grained mid century teak desk. It dates from around the mid to late 1960’s and is in beautiful restored condition. It is now presented in a beautiful colour showing off the stunning grain of quality teak. It has a nicely sized work surface for home use. The drawers run freely and have been cleaned and sanded back internally. The bottom right hand drawer is a double height filing drawer with original suspension file rail still present. There are two pull out shelves to the top of both pedestals – one just a shelf, the other containing the original plastic stationery tray. There are a few old ink stains that were not possible to remove due to how deep they had soaked in to the wood, any further work would have lost the grain of the teak completely. The area can easily be covered but we have to point this out to any potential buyer. Please see photographs for colour and size of stains. The price reflects this stain.
A super looking desk, very useable for regular working but not too deep for most people to be able to accommodate. It is very Scandinavian mid Century in its design.
Overall Dimensions: 71.5cm High, 138cm Wide, 77cm Deep
Kneehole: 64cm height clearance, 53.5cm wide
Please note: this desk does not disassemble. Double check all of your door openings and access points before purchasing.
