This is a beautiful late 19th Century church pew made from solid oak. The condition of the pew is very good and the whole bench is structurally sound with no joint movements. The colour is perfect as is the overall patina and feel of the pew. Most pews are pitch pine and very similar in style. This one in solid oak with very clean lines, making it stand out from the crowd and look beautiful. We have three identical ones available should you want a pair for either side of a kitchen/ dining table.
We think this would make a beautiful dining bench or hallway bench. A piece which will surely gain lots of comments.
This is a stunning antique bench with stand out quality that will just keep getting better and better.

A simply stunning Arts & Crafts influence bench produced around the 1920’s. It is solid walnut framed with beautiful craftsmanship to the very well turned legs. The bentwood seat is punch hole designed from a neo-Gothic pattern, very much reflecting the UK Arts & Crafts movement of the era. We adore the design, colour and natural patina from years of ageing and use. The bench came to us in a very poor state and not stable to sit on. We fully secured the seat to make it safe. We then had to perform some patch repairs die to missing sections on the seat. The patches can be seen but have been colour blended. The pricing of this bench reflects those imperfections. The last three of these benches sold for £695. The bench is not too large to accommodate and would look stunning in a hallway or bedroom. Beautiful as a purely decorative piece but perfectly usable as a bench seat. We wouldn’t advise heavy daily use, as a dining bench for example. The bentwood seat would wear quickly if used heavily on a daily basis. Perfect for occasional use but of course the choice is yours. We have photographed the full condition of the seat, so please look carefully. Any questions we are more than happy to answer.

This is a very cute and stylish church pew made from solid antique pitch pine. The condition of the pew is very good and the whole bench is structurally sound with no joint movements. The colour is perfect as is the overall patina and feel of the pew. We fully cleaned the pew, re oiled it with a moisturising oil and finished with a protective satin finish.
We love the design and size, making it stand out from the masses of pews available. The size is very easy to accommodate and lends itself to being very flexible on how it can be styled and used in your home. It would make a beautiful hallway bench but equally could add real character and individuality as a dining table bench. Style and use exactly as you wish.

A very cute and stylish early 20th Century bench in oak. This bench dates from around 1910 and is hand made from solid oak throughout. We gave the piece a full clean and gentle restore then fully reupholstered the seat in a beautiful teal plush velvet material. We adore the finished piece and think it would make a perfect hall or bedroom bench.
