Read morec1920’s Enamel Sign from Torquay Shoe Store
£0FREE UK Delivery via ParcelForce
An original, circa late 1920’s, advertising sign in enamel on steel. The sign came to us in three pieces but we couldn’t let that detract from its fantastic colours and patina. The sign is part of the original Torquay Shoe Store sign (was there only one in the 1920’s?). We adore the colours and the well aged and weathered condition of this sign. It is perfect for a surf shop, café, restaurant or holiday home in Torquay? Or for somebody originally form Torquay? We mounted the sign on to a white 12mm thick back board to keep it secure and together.
We think it now carries the perfect mix of well aged colours and patina for a cool and very stylish piece of wall art. Hang or display wherever you wish. Two holes are pre drilled in the back board ready to be mounted wherever you choose. Signs of this age and size are very scarce and highly sought after!
Measurements: 200cm Wide, 30cm High, 2cm Deep.

A fantastic original mid Century display cabinet for Henri Wintermans cigars. We estimate the pieces dates from around the mid 1950’s to early 1960’s. We love the perfectly aged colouring of the beech framework, along with all of the original transfer labels still fully in tact. This would be perfect in the man cave/ she shed/ study? Rare to find in such amazing original condition.
We think it is beautiful and deserves to be on show as a decorative item or full of your favourite cigars…….?

Read moreFramed Vintage Lake Maggiore Print by Mario Borgoni
£0FREE UK Delivery
A gorgeous vintage print of the Electric Railway/ Funicular at Lake Maggiore. The original artwork is from the 1920’s by Mario Borgoni (1869-1936) but we were informed this is probably a later mid Century reprint. Mario Borgoni was noted in particular for his travel posters of beautiful tourist destinations, such as the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Sorrento and the Italian Riviera. The poster is printed on very good quality thick paper and retains superb colours. The print has been framed in a later frame (probably 1980’s) in a Matt Black wood. The frame shows few signs of its age.
We think it is just a superb image with fantastic colours and will make a superb hanging with a difference.
Frame size: – 72cm High, 53cm Wide
