A gorgeous 1960’s desk with a difference. It is Danish in original and made very well from teak and afromosia wood. It is solid in its build and very heavy for its compact size. The desk is perfect for a tighter space as it can fold down to a small size but then be extended on the top via a very easy slide system. It has classic mid Century design and therefore offers a super looking desk but also vey practical and very useable. With three clean and free running drawers plus an open storage shelf it offers all you would need for a regular use work or study desk. Different, fantastic to look at but also very practical – exactly what we love to offer you.

A superb pair of early 20th Century wrought iron trestles. The design of these trestles is fantastic. All hand forged in iron and date stamped 1907. The trestles were hand stripped of many layers of paint, hand burnished and finally waxed to prevent oxidisation/ rust. They are now the perfect mix of rustic but clean and ready to use in a private or commercial property.
Trestles such as these, are used as table legs by simply adding the table size and material of your choice. All of the original ironwork and shape are in tact, along with the beautiful antique patina.
Add the top of your choice for a completely bespoke table or desk.

A gorgeous 1950’s double pedestal desk in a golden coloured oak. The desk dates from around the early to mid 1950’s and is in very good original condition, fully cleaned and gently restored by us. This desk came to us from a private owner in Leicestershire. It is presented in a beautifully aged colour and patina with a really nicely sized work surface for home use. The drawers run freely and have been cleaned internally. A very nicely sized desk for regular home use with plenty of storage.

A beautiful early 20th Century stacking bookcase by Lebus. The piece offers lots of storage in its four generous glazed sections, together with a bottom pull out drawer. The bookcase splits in to 5 sections for ease of transportation and moving to the room of your choice. The whole piece is presented in perfectly aged oak with the cutest original button handles too. This bookcase has some very attractive features that set it apart from most stacking bookcases; namely the curved lines, the hand carved fretwork to the cornice and the shaped sides to the top of the piece. All marks of quality that would have set this bookcase at the upper end of what Lebus offered in the early 20th Century. This would have been an expensive bookcase when new, and now it is even better with age. We haven’t come across a better Lebus bookcase!

A superb original 1920’s filing cabinet in beautiful oak by Angus of London. Angus produced some superb oak office furniture throughout the early to mid 20th Century. This is an early example as the patented filing system was stamped in to the wood inside. The frame is constructed from solid oak with beautifully aged colour and grain. Even the drawer internals are solid thick oak. The piece is completely original throughout with superbly aged brass handles and label holders. The age of the piece shows on the oxidisation of the hardware – something that only time can do! The drawers split in to two for ease of moving. The drawer internals are very clean and the drawers run free and easy.
A beautiful piece as a filing cabinet, side table, lamp table, bedside table etc.

An excellent example of an original mid century low glazed bookcase/ unit/ sideboard in solid with original glass sliding doors. Produced around the 1960’s this is a really clean and completely original example. It is the earlier and better quality Gold Label Autograph range by Herbert Gibbs. A great size, superb colour with original adjustable shelves and original glass. With a slim cupboard to the right hand side it offers super flexible storage for the things you want to see and the more unsightly but necessary things tucked away.
It can easily be accommodated in to living, dining or bedroom styling. Fantastic and highly desirable mid century styling.

A beautiful original Art Deco jewellery box in walnut veneer. The box is completely original and dates to around the late 1920’s to mid 1930’s. It is made made from quality walnut veneer with a cross grain inlaid marquetry border design. It is preserved very well with a beautiful aged colour. Internally the top retains its original quilted material lid insert. There is also a pull out tray which has been lined on the bottom with a felt material. The main section also has the bottom felt liner. All hinges and the front catch are original and working exactly as they should.
The top of the box has an inlaid shield design which could be engraved if the item was a gift for a special person?
