A fantastic late 19th Century reversible back Tram bench. This is a heavyweight bench with solid cast iron framework and back supports by W Fisher of West Bromwich (1830-1909). The lower seat supports are of exceptional design and quality with intricate gothic revival design to each of the supports. They are also stamped W Fisher of West Bromwich. The seat and back rest are perfectly aged and coloured antique pitch pine. The back of these benches can be reversed so that seating is possible from either side of the bench. They are a gorgeous piece of history and now make a superb hall bench, dining bench or garden bench. You choose!

Both the wood and metalwork have been refinished to give a fantastic piece, with all the character still remaining. The hooks above are original, in excellent condition and have an almost Art Deco shape/ design to them. Very unusual actually.
