This is a beautiful example of a Barrister’s style bookcase in rich and perfectly aged mahogany. It dates from around the 1940’s to 50’s and offers lots of fantastic storage. It is made from beautifully aged mahogany with a good weight to reflect some quality materials and production. The bookcase is presented in exceptionally clean condition for its age. The bookcase splits in to different sections for ease of moving to the room of your choice.

£1,495A truly amazing Pharmacy dispensing cabinet from a pharmacy shop in Old town Budapest (Buda). Originally produced circa late 1920’s to early 1930’s. We found two in totally original condition and brought them over to England. One is as photographed, the other is a mirror image with the glazed door on the left and two tambour sections to the right of it.
They are immense in size and stature, constructed from oak with some painted pine to the shelving internally. All of the black dispensing shelves pull out for ease of access. They are completely original and now offer a breathtaking storage option for residential or commercial use. Each cabinet weighs around 100kgs and stand over 2 metres tall.
Lots of storage and fantastic style. Use as a dresser, kitchen cabinet, bookcase etc etc. Just imagine the comments and expressions from your guests……..

A quite incredible set of original Victorian weighing scales. Of a quality and size that would have originally sat in a good quality grocer’s store. The scales are very heavy and completely original throughout. They probably weigh 25kg as photographed. The base is hand carved and shaped oak with the original marble top. The scales are of heavy gauge steel with the top display pieces bright chrome plated. The chrome is in excellent condition for its age. The weight bed is of stainless steel formed plate. The set of weights are solid brass, cleaned and polished, complete with the VR stamp for authenticity. The original glass plate has one chip where it meets the chrome upright. The chip is approximately 1.5cm wide, 0.5cm in (please see photographs).
We think the scales are a very rare find and would make an amazing statement decorative piece in a kitchen or restaurant. We haven’t seen many better than this!
