This is a super example of a Barrister’s style bookcase in oak, produced by Minty of Oxford. It dates from around the mid to late 1930’s and offers lots of very stylish storage. It is made from beautifully coloured and grained oak and Minty are renowned for their quality stacking bookcases. The bookcase is presented in excellent vintage condition. The bookcase splits in to different sections for ease of moving to the room of your choice. Use as a bookcase, drinks cabinet, bathroom cabinet, cosmetics and perfume etc.

This is a beautiful example of a stacking bookcase in quarter drawn (Tiger) English oak. It dates from around the early 1930’s and looks so cute in this size. It is made from beautifully aged oak and has a surprising weight to it for its size – a reflection of the quality of oak used in its construction. The bookcase is presented in super condition for its age. With a generous upper glazed section and four free running drawers below it offers a lot of flexibility in storage and also styling e.g. A bathroom cabinet, drinks cabinet, toiletries and beauty products etc etc.

It is made from beautifully aged oak and Minty are renowned for their quality stacking bookcases. The bookcase is presented in exceptional condition for its age. The bookcase splits in to different sections for ease of moving, or for expanding the size if you wish. These bookcases were termed ‘elastic bookcases’ by Globe Wernicke, as you could just add sections as you required more space. We love this one in this size though.

A pretty unique and rather lovely oak bookcase dating from around the 1960’s. It retains all of its original glass doors and solid oak shelves internally. The bookcase shows good quality production and materials from its weight and finishing touches. The shelf edges have detailed edges, again showing some quality design and finish. Below the glazed section is a very useful solid door cupboard, to store away the more unsightly but necessary things. Internally the bookcase is in exceptionally clean condition.

A gorgeous solid oak bookcase dating from around the 1970’s. It weighs in the region of 50kgs, reflective of the quality and thickness of the solid oak used in its production. Even the shelves are made of thick solid oak. Each shelf is height adjustable via the side support system. Simply move the side supports to the place you want them and reinsert the shelves. We love the clean simple lines and beautiful oak grain; all in a size that makes it easy easy to fit in to almost any room. The bookcase retains its working lock and key.
