A very stylish and cute 1960’s bookcase in teak. The bookcase has a lovely colour from the teak wood and is in super original vintage condition. There is some height adjustability to the shelves internally. We love the colour and simplicity of the lines, together with those super cute stubby legs. It will fit in to most interiors and become a staple clean design piece that could easily move rooms/ homes with you.

A stunning example of an original antique book case or drinks cabinet with beautiful astragal glazing to the doors. The cabinetry is in exceptional original condition. All of the glass in the doors is original too but there is one crack to the left door (please see the close up photograph). You don’t notice the crack until you are very close but we do have to mention it! We could quite easily replace it but for the cosmetic effect it has, we felt it was best to leave the original glass in and reflect it in the price.
This beautiful piece is presented in perfectly aged mahogany with its original astragal glazed doors, glass, lock and key. The shelves are easily adjustable in height by moving the brass supports up or down within the unit. The cabinet is set on superbly carved ball and claw feet. Even the brass locking bolts and hinges are completely original and beautifully preserved.
We re-finished the back in Farrow & Ball Wevet eggshell. This gave the piece a contemporary facelift to bring it bang on trend for 2021. What a perfectly gorgeous gin cabinet? It would be very hard to find a more beautiful example than this?

An original mid century glazed bookcase/ unit/ sideboard in Walnut. Produced in the 1960’s by Morris of Glasgow the cabinet has a really good weight and quality construction to it with fove tailed joints to the frame and good quality heavy glass doors. The door hinge is fully hinged with a piano hinge, adding to a quality construction feel. The size is really versatile. The unit is completely original with super condition to the solid wood framework, original sliding glass doors and original handles and catches.
Both the top and bottom shelves are easily adjustable, or removable, by simply moving the wooden support pegs to different holes. Or removing the shelves completely, should you need to. Both doors slide easily and are free from chips. If you need any further close ups or have any questions, just ask us.
We think the piece offers lots of flexible storage capabilities as a bookcase, drinks cabinet. sideboard, TV stand etc. It can easily be accommodated in to living, dining or bedroom styling. Fantastic and highly desirable mid century styling at such a great value for money price.

An unusually sized original mid century glazed bookcase/ unit/ sideboard in Teak. Produced in the 1960’s by Morris of Glasgow the cabinet has a really good weight and also some really nice brass ware. The door hinges are fully hinged piano hinges, adding to a quality construction feel. The size is unusual in that it is quite tall but slim. Ideal for an alcove or somewhere that is restricted on the width available.
