This is a beautiful 19th Century carved armchair in Walnut. It is in a very relaxed Victorian design with exceptional hand carved detailing to the whole frame and galleried arms. The skill and hard work gone in to producing this is truly amazing. It is beautifully carved and in very good antique condition with solid joints and no wobbles. It has been later reupholstered to a high standard in a deep purple crushed velvet with beautiful finishing edging tape. A very comfortable but decorative chair to make a statement where you need it to.

We love the shape and size of this vintage wicker basket. With a 65cm Diameter and height of 49cm it can be used in SO many ways – toys, blankets, throws, cushions, logs, etc etc

10 beautiful double head silk peonies that we have styled in original early 20th Century apothecary jars and crate. All bottles in very good condition, as is the wooden crate. A truly stunning original Mid century large scale industrial light, directly from a factory closure in St Albans. The shade is in outstanding original condition with no dents, chips or cracks. It is in perfectly aged green enamel finish, exactly as it would have been when produced but now mellowed perfectly with age. The light stands out from the many shades out there due to its condition, and having its original dome shade protector on the bottom – spring loaded fastening and stamped BENJAMIN. The light has been fully stripped, cleaned, re-wired with a 3 core black twisted fabric cord and tested. Hang it directly from its hook or add a chain of your colour/ finish choice to create the full drop you need.
We have two very nearly identical lights. This one has a partly black gallery in original paint (see photographs). The other light has a full silver gallery – see other listing.

An original mid Century leather Chesterfield chair with unusual proportions. We love the size and shape of this original leather Chesterfield chair, dating to around the late 1950’s to 60’s. It is unusual in how deep set the chair is, the over proportioned wings to the rear headrest and how deeply the backrest is padded. Clearly some quality to the original construction and covering of the chair. It is in original condition throughout albeit with one patch repair to one arm. This is quite normal for leather pieces of this age and older. The colour matches well and it just enhances the originality of the piece. It is super comfy and just looks superb and inviting. All buttons still present and well fixed. We replaced the bottom underside of the chair with new material.
