A superb solid oak bookcase dating from around the 1920’s and very much of the Art Deco influence (1908-1935 in the UK) . The colour and grain of the oak show the quality of this piece. It has some very attractive Art Deco influence design on the fluted pillars and curved corner supports. It offers a perfect nod to the Art Deco movement without having too many curves and over design; that can really clutter the clean lines.
Perfectly sized to accommodate in most homes and will fit in to contemporary, traditional or Scandi hygge/minimalist themes. Just style with your own personal taste. All shelves are solid oak and can be adjusted on height/ spacing. Original brass ware include the internal sliding bolts, lock and key (working lock).
