A beautifully designed low chest of two drawers with lift up mirror for hair and make up drawers. This piece was designed and produced by Goldex in Sweden in the 1960’s. It has fantastic mid century lines and could be used as a chest of drawers, as a dressing table or even a TV stand. It is perfectly coloured in mid century teak with those gorgeous tuned legs below. The top of the lower drawer handle looks like it has had an old repair. Nothing that stops its use or can be seen unless pointed out – but we need to for honesty and transparency. A very individual and stylish wall decoration. The main part is a mid century steel triangular frame with individual hooks. We used the hooks to style an artificial plant and thereby create a fantastic no maintenance wall decoration. The hooks could also be used for:-
Bags, scarves, hats, magazines, booklets, pans, cups, kitchen utensils etc etc

A truly superb and rare decorative piece. We estimate this beautiful cast iron bench dates from the 1930’s. It would have been used as a shop display piece to promote the detailed casting work that Singer were capable and world renowned for. The quality of the casting for the size of the bench is exceptional. It is heavy for its size, due to being made from cast iron. The bench ‘seat’ also displays the original Singer Manufacturing logo label. We have never come across anything like this and for somebody that loves Sewing and Crafting it would make such a perfect gift (even if that person is you!) A rare piece of Singer memorabilia and a beautiful table top decorative piece that will get so much attention and admiration!

A truly stunning original Mid century large scale industrial light, directly from a factory closure in St Albans. The shade is in outstanding original condition with no dents, chips or cracks. It is in perfectly aged green enamel finish, exactly as it would have been when produced but now mellowed perfectly with age. The light stands out from the many shades out there due to its condition, and having its original dome shade protector on the bottom – spring loaded fastening and stamped BENJAMIN. The light has been fully stripped, cleaned, re-wired with a 3 core black twisted fabric cord and tested. Hang it directly from its hook or add a chain of your colour/ finish choice to create the full drop you need.
We have two very nearly identical lights. This one has a partly black gallery in original paint (see photographs). The other light has a full silver gallery – see other listing.

An original industrial factory lamp in completely original condition. It dates to around 1940-50 and has clearly been well used. It came to us from a factory in Budapest. We cleaned the lamp, got the articulated joints moving and oiled. We then added some new twisted black fabric cord and mounted it on a bespoke oak mount. The oak is also mid century to match the age of the lamp. Both arms adjust in height and position via the original wing nut fastenings
We love the style and the character. It does show plenty of signs of wear and some dings in the shade. All within the photographs and all adding to its heritage and authenticity. If only this lamp could tell you some of it’s stories…..?
