A superb solid oak bookcase dating from around the 1920’s. The weight, colour and grain of the oak show the quality of this piece. It is a very solid cabinet with excellent joinery skills within the cabinetry making. It is a classic late 1920’s design, represented in the shape and proportions.
Perfectly sized to accommodate in most homes and will fit in to contemporary, traditional or Scandi hygge/minimalist themes. Just style with your own personal taste. All shelves are solid oak and can be fully adjusted on height/ spacing – or removed completely. Beautiful brass ware including the handle, escutcheon, lock and key (working lock).

£0Original mid 20th Century changing room/ gym bench. Beautiful patina to both the original wooden slats forming the seat and the underslung wire baskets. The rear legs required extending as the bench was originally fitted over heating pipes. Other than that the piece is completely original. Original legs are metal with all original paint and patina. The rear extensions have been formed from vintage solid wood before being painted black to match.

A beautiful and very stylish late 19th Century Victorian glazed dresser / bookcase in original walnut finish. It dates from around 1880 to 1900 and has beautifully aged original cabinetry, glass, brass ware, locks and key for both sections. This came from a private Client home in SW London where it lived through three generations, owned by the same family. It is very stylish, classic and flexible in design and very flexible to match a vast array of room styles. The colour is superb having aged beautifully over the last 120 years+.
We think it would also make a fantastic individual bookcase/ dresser or kitchen / diner cabinet. The piece is tall though and does not split in to two sections for transportation. The bookcase stands at 231cm tall so please check your ceiling heights carefully before purchasing. This is an impressive size that will certainly commands lots of attention and only appreciate in value.

An early 20th Century hardwood side table hand carved with elephants head and trunks as legs. A well constructed table with an unusual but vey popular style. Most probably carved in South East Asia originally, it has a beautifully aged ebonised colouring with original wood colour showing through in patches. Perfect patination from use. The top has splits where the original top was formed from planks rather than one solid piece of timber, but the table is solid and free from wobbles. We love it exactly as it is, in totally original condition, so we did not want to repair or restore and lose the gorgeous patina. All three elephants heads have both trunks in tact.
We think this is now a highly desirable and superbly stylish piece that would add a touch of chic to a variety of rooms/ interiors. It could be used as a side table for drinks, books, magazines etc or a lamp table or even a plant stand or towel table in the bathroom. A classic but very stylish piece.
