Three superb beehive shades dating form around the late 1960’s to early 1970’s. They were manufactured in Italy with stickers still present on the top of the shades. All of the shades have been rewired with a new screw in bulb holder and new ivory flex. We adore the beehive shape and superb vintage condition of these shades. They will look fantastic on their own, a pair, or a rare stunning trio. Please not that the shades are over 5o years old and will therefore carry some cosmetic marks such as small scuffs. We have inspected all three shades and there are no major dents, no major scratches or anything that shows up unless closely inspecting.
Dimensions: 35cm Shade diameter at the widest points, 22cm depth of shade. Fitted with 50cm of flex (though you could easily replace with your own cord for colour or texture preference; to match your interior theme).

A truly stunning pair of original c1930’s mixed glass and brass ceiling lights. The shades are a very unusual blend of opaline, clear and frosted glass – mixing all three finishes perfectly. The original brass galleries, hanging hooks and chains are also in amazing original condition and are completely original to the shade. It is very rare to find lights of this age in such stunning original condition. A rare and amazing find that will get so many admirers when hung in your home. Both lamps have been rewired with a sympathetic brown coloured twisted fabric cord.

We adore this lampshade. It is from circa the mid to late 1960’s and hand made from bamboo. It also comes with a spare glass shade (see photo). The condition is fantastic for its age and is completely original. With a 54cm diameter it offers real presence too. It could be used as a ceiling shade or equally added to a floor lamp to make a superb statement piece. Style and original vintage coming together superbly! A truly stunning original Mid century large scale industrial light, directly from a factory closure in St Albans. The shade is in outstanding original condition with no dents, chips or cracks. It is in perfectly aged green enamel finish, exactly as it would have been when produced but now mellowed perfectly with age. The light stands out from the many shades out there due to its condition, and having its original dome shade protector on the bottom – spring loaded fastening and stamped BENJAMIN. The light has been fully stripped, cleaned, re-wired with a 3 core black twisted fabric cord and tested. Hang it directly from its hook or add a chain of your colour/ finish choice to create the full drop you need.
We have two very nearly identical lights. This one has a partly black gallery in original paint (see photographs). The other light has a full silver gallery – see other listing.

An original 1950’s photography lamp by Smith-Victor. This lamps is a rare find as the lamp head and stand are completely original and in excellent condition for their age. We bought this lamp form a dealer in the US and had it sent over, we loved it that much. The stand offers lots of flexibility over height adjustment and the head swivels and tilts to get the exact lighting you are looking for. The bulb is a standard fitting so you can choose a squirrel cage, LED etc for the look and colour you want. The light is switched on and off at the head with a simple push switch on the lamp holder.
Simply plug in and add very stylish lighting to any room. We adore the overall look and uniqueness of what these lamps have been used for and seen – who knows what subject matter they have photographed!

An original Photax photography lamp. The lamps dates from around the 1950’s to 1960’s and were widely used by professional photographers during the mi 20th Century (David Bailey peak era). The lamps and stands are completely original. Showing great signs of age and patina to the shade with a few small marks/ dings but nothing significant – purely cosmetic. Excellent original condition for their age and previous life.
The shades can be positioned to the angle you prefer and the stands are fully height adjustable. Simply plug in and add very stylish lighting to any room. We have a matching pair available, should you want a pair to position either side of a sofa or feature wall or headboard etc. Or obviously they can be split up and used in different rooms.

An original early 20th Century inspection lamp in amazing original condition. Very rare to find these lamps in such amazing condition. Most of the cages have been battered, rusted, misshaped etc. . The handle is in its original oak finish with perfect colouring and patina from many years of use. The cage has great patina, is in amazing shape and such a gorgeous finish/ patina. The ceramic bulb holder is original and the lamp has been rewired in twisted black fabric cord.
The lamp can be sat on a desk, table, shelf etc. It can also be suspended from its cord. Either way it offers some unique and atmospheric lighting. The bulb required is a standard UK bayonet (BC) fitting with a whole array of colours and wattage to achieve the exact light you are looking for.
We love the style and the character. One of the bets inspection lamps we have come across. If only this lamp could tell you some of it’s stories…..?

An original c1920’s Art Deco lamp in beautiful original condition. This little lamp has everything going for it – beautiful simple 1920’s design lines, original and excellent condition with some nice weight to reflect the quality. It has been fully rewired with a black fabric twisted cord and PAT tested for safety. It has then been mounted on a bespoke made solid oak base. We now think it would make a superb desk lamp or bedside lamp; though could go in any room you choose (excluding bathrooms!)
The lamp is in excellent condition with a superbly aged patina to the metal finish. The inside of the shade and rim shows some sign of age and wear but nothing to downgrade its excellent antique condition. The shade does rotate to be able to direct the light source.
Very hard to find in this finish and condition.
