This gym bench and baskets dates to around the late 1960’s to early 1970’s and came out of a school in Epsom, Surrey. Great solid weight and quality to the original steel legs and iroko top. The steel shoe baskets below are in a black powder coated finish which has kept them in excellent condition. This bench has all the superb old school styling you could want. A perfect way of tidying up a hallway or entrance whilst adding a real style statement.

This gym bench and baskets dates to around the early 1960’s and came out of a school in Kent. Beautiful quality, colour and finish to the original mahogany top and gorgeous natural wear to the galvanised steel shoe baskets below. This bench has an unusual design to make it different and stand out. It also has a very useful backrest to prevent marking the walls when leaning back. A really good size and weight to be a super stylish and practical piece at home now.

This gym bench and baskets dates to around 1950-60 and came out of a school in Solihull. Beautiful quality, colour and finish to the original Iroko top and gorgeous natural wear to the galvanised steel shoe baskets below. A really good size and weight to be a super stylish and practical piece at home now. We had to add new legs to this bench as the old ones were rusted through and needed to be fixed to the wall. No good for ease of use at home. The new legs are a good weight steel box section, sprayed gloss black. Very in keeping and just like the originals in size and style. The legs also have plastic end caps/ feet to stop any scratching on floors.
We had various sizes and styles old school/ gym/ locker room benches available with rows of four or five baskets wide. We also have 1970’s later baskets which are black powder coated. We can also change the colour of the legs if you have a specific colour scheme you would like to match to.

This large gym bench and baskets dates to around the early 1960’s and came out of Mount Kelly private school in Tavistock, on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon. Beautiful quality, colour and finish to the original top and gorgeous natural wear to the galvanised steel shoe baskets below. A really good size and weight to be a super stylish and practical piece at home now. We had to add new steel legs as the original fixings were screwed to the wall. These legs now make it portable, easier to accommodate and use, whilst retaining the original looks.

This gym bench and baskets dates to around 1950-60 and came out of the changing rooms at Mount Kelly Private school in Tavistock, Devon. Beautiful colour and sheen to the original mahogany top and gorgeous natural wear to the galvanised steel shoe baskets below. We had to add new steel legs for this bench as the original ones were cut and were originally fixed to the wall. The new legs are in keeping with the original design, made from steel and sprayed gloss black. A really good size and weight to be a super stylish and practical piece at home now.
We have various sizes of these benches available with rows of four, five or six baskets wide (such as this one). We also have 1970’s later baskets which are black powder coated. We could even make up benches at double this width etc.
