This console is an elegant solid wood console table with two bevel glass inserts. It has some very attractive decorative features with beautiful legs and decorative finishers. We fully stripped the whole piece and refinished it in Farrow & Ball Off Black. A clear coat of Annie Sloan chalk paint wax has also been applied, to seal against water and spills.
We think it now offers a classic and chic console or hall table with plenty of antique chic styling. Reclaimed and refinished furniture is so much better for the planet too!

This console is an elegant solid wood console table produced circa 1930’s to 1940’s. It has some very attractive decorative features with beautiful legs and stretchers. It retains its original drawer handles. We fully stripped the whole piece and refinished it in Farrow & Ball Off Black. A clear coat of Annie Sloan chalk paint wax has also been applied, to seal against water and spills.
We think it now offers a classic and chic occasional desk or console table with plenty of antique chic styling. Both drawers are clean and run easily. Reclaimed and refinished furniture is so much better for the planet too!

This washstand dates to the early part of the 20h Century, circa 1900-1920. It was made of solid pine frame with a heavy marble top. Originally the top would have been for the water bowl and jug for washing. Now these wash stand are used as hall tables, bedroom tables, bathroom towel bale holders etc etc. We fully stripped the whole frame and refinished it in Farrow & Ball Railings. A clear coat of Annie Sloan chalk paint wax has also been applied, to seal against water and spills.
We think it now offers a classic and chic piece with plenty of options for use.

This console is an elegant solid wood console table produced circa 1930’s to 1940’s. It has some very decorative features with carved and fluted columns to the front and decorative carvings on the top framework. It retains its original brass drawer handles (one very small scroll section missing). The piece has a nice quality feel and weight to it, solid and sturdy, not flimsy in any way. It came to us in a tired state of dull dark brown. We fully stripped the whole piece and refinished it in Farrow & Ball Railings. A clear coat of Annie Sloan chalk paint wax has also been applied, to seal against water and spills.
We think it now offers a classic and chic console table with plenty of storage on its top, shelves and two generous drawers. Both drawers are clean and run easily. Reclaimed and refinished furniture is so much better for the planet too!

This console is an elegant solid wood console table produced circa 1980’s as an antique style piece. It retains its original brass drawer handle base don a very well used Edwardian design. The piece has a nice quality feel and weight to it, solid and sturdy, not flimsy. It came to us in a tired state of dull dark brown. We fully stripped the whole piece and refinished it in a beautifully rich French Navy Blue for a contemporary colour pop and very appealing matt finish. A clear coat of Annie Sloan chalk paint wax has also been applied, to seal against water and spills.
We think it now offers a very contemporary and useful console table made from solid wood and offering many more years of use. Reclaimed and refinished furniture is so much better for the planet too!
