A fantastic and highly collectible piece of BBC/ Broadcasting memorabilia. The sign dates to around the 1960’s. It would have been lit up during live shows or recordings to tell the audience when to applause.  It has been rewired with a new lamp holder and cable, together with an inline on and off switch for convenience. Such a fantastic little light with a great glow from the bulb. Perfect as a desk lamp, bedside lamp or anywhere you would like to show it off lamp 🙂
